#228247 Barclays Premier League 2014/15

But the mentality of champions is to win when you're playing bad. If we keep that up and sign a couple of defenders with a commanding midfielder, imagine how better we'll be.

You can go on about "giving him time" like we did with Fergie, but the game has changed. The media pressures the managers to make an instant impact, it's nothing like two decades ago. Moyes inherited a title winning squad, Fergie had to create one.
I'd be fine with giving Moyes time if we were at least challenging for top four and at least going forward, but the fact that we could potentially go six points behind Everton, you have to question his ability in having a squad of Mata, Rooney, Van Persie, etc and doing even worse than his old club..
I just don't think Moyes is arrogant enough or stands his ground. The fact is he's too nice and that can be seen from his interviews.
In my opinion, I think the Olympiakos game has to be his last chance. If he fails that, Fergie would have to return to steady the ship for the last games we have until we can find a suitable experienced manager.. Optimistic thinking though.

Tonight's bet:
Man Utd -1
Lazio
OFI Crete
Dijon/Monaco Draw
£5 returns £110
Usually don't do draws but reckon it'll be tight.. would have gone for Doncaster otherwise but they've been messing me up lately.

Lazio
Bournemouth
Elche
Man Utd
Charlton
Leicester
Returns £197
Anyone think I should do a six fold of this instead? Returns £118 if one team messes up. Unsure what to do, risk it and be greedy for extra £80 or at least "play it safe" in case one team messes it up as usual..

I started with £5 though after doubting my ability Put £5 on over 0.5 goals in the Bayern game and got £6.12 back. So basically, need to pick a game tonight to throw the £6.12 on and hopefully get £7-£7.20 back.

Juventus are looking good already, Llorente will just add what they need. They already got Vidal on a great deal too.

Thoughts? If you sign up, you get odds of 3/1 on Chelsea win v Liverpool. The catch is you can only bet £20 maximum.
I'm tempted to throw a tenner on. Still got my 75p to £98 accumulator and £1 to £10.50 going. Won £6.67 from £1 today, it's something.
Only problem is, Liverpool have done the double over Chelsea 3 out of the 4 past seasons. However, Chelsea seem strong as Terry, Luiz and Mata return, Liverpool seem weaker but are unbeaten in 5 league games so far..

^ 50p returns about £10.50
^ £1 returns about £10
^ £75p returns £6
^ 75p returns £98
Not been lucky at all since my last win in May which was a £10 free bet with Skybet which got me £288 on 11 fold.
Totesport have a £10 free bet if you stake £5 so might use that account to play my "slow profit" game. Use £5 on a few £1 bets that hopefully return £6-10 each and then either use the £10 on a high fold accumulator or use it on a treble with teams confident of winning resulting in a possibly £20-25 back.

Some sort of profit I guess, bit unsure though. I do follow tennis quite a bit..

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
Little profit is profit I'd rather be gaining something like 80p than losing a pound. Not that it's anything to lose but profiting is always better!

I'll top up with a fiver next week and play the safe game. Bet on two or three "certain win" games and gain £1-2 profit. Then eventually if it works, do the exact same plan but with £5's and gain a further profit.
Is that pretty much what most of you do?

We didn't deserve to win as we just disappeared after 35 minutes, but you're going to take 3 points over your rivals regardless of poor decisions. Plus, it creates the banter anyway.

I'd like to know this too.
Also, my Hoffenheim game is going well so far:
Bought Ze Castro for £1m (hasn't really impressed) and bought Julian de Guzman for £150k.
Some results involved beating Dortmund 5-3 at home, Schalke 2-1 away and HSV 7-1 away.

Surely you got this feeling at the end of FM12 before you considered FM13? Unless it was several months not playing, I understand.
Also, PSG got boring. Anyone suggest an interesting game?
