This is a known issue and it is on the to-do list to be rectified. We have a dedicated thread where we are tracking the progress of 2026/27 updates and where we publish the overall direction for the Data Update.

Downloaded the updates, for some reason Man City are entered into the Europa League when starting a new game??

 

Anyone else got the same issue or is it just me?

Okay. Just never had issues like this before with these updates. Hadn't played for a few months so updated and it just confused me lol

Also not sure why so many owners/chairperson/directors etc have been removed from their roles. Alex Ferguson just got appointed as a manager because of it.

Downloaded the update but for some reason most players are part-time? what am I doing wrong?
