It's quite simple. Whilst in Finder, access the "Go" top menu and whilst that is highlighted, press the "alt" key and select "Library", from here you can open application support where you should find your steam folder.
Thankyou, I just found how to do that through a steam forum but thanks anyway! I was going through system libraries and not user before.

On my mac, in the application support folder I can't find a steam folder? Anyone know what i can do from here?
