Perhaps if you have another folder with 2d kits, and the file there is named exactly like 3d kit, one of them won't show. They must have different names.

These config lines work on my PC; 3d kits in this case should be named stalbans3d_1.png and so on
<record from="stalbans3d_1" to="graphics/pictures/team/716/kit_textures/home"/>
<record from="stalbans3d_2" to="graphics/pictures/team/716/kit_textures/away"/>
<record from="stalbans3d_3" to="graphics/pictures/team/716kit_textures/third"/>

St Albans 3d kits are now posted:
St. Albans City - Submissions - FM26 3D Kits

I have FM 26 via Steam. I downloaded it, put it in the graphics folder, created one called 3D kits, but the St Albans 3D kit doesn't appear. Am I doing something wrong?

No, this is the proper kit. However it appears that light parts of the pattern should be more visible.
It's really hard to get it right because every picture is photoshoped and filtered and it's hard to guess real values.

Here's another attempt with brighter color and more visible pattern

So I'll look for the link to last year's kits and use them for this year, since they're the same.
