Once the file is verified in the pre game editor, you should be good to go

Just verified and all looks good to go, will just keep updating the leagues as and when I download a new update until Stevenage has been swapped thanks

Sorry to be a pain, just did the updates and went to just load the game to see whether they worked.
It is saying that the file isn't verified, so can't play using that file.
Gone into data editor again, imported the England file and selected leagues and tested competitions running them to the end date of May 2020. Is that all I have to do?

When I complete the team swaps, do I click on save editor data and give it a different name?

Yes, its quite simple, in the pre game editor, instead of clicking 'Load Editor Data', instead select 'Import', and then select the relevant data update

Hi Is there anyway I can swap Stevenage for Macclesfield in the data update? I tried doing it last night but couldn't find the file to load up on my data editor even though when I load the game up it is able to be used
