Why on earth would we sell Chelsea Rooney for £25m?

We'd rather let him rot and let them have an overweight Rooney in 2 years time then selling cheaply to a direct rival (and in truth he'll have no choice not to give his all given that its a World Cup year.

If Chelsea want him it will cost them a lot, Torres money at least I would expect.

If he goes abroad that's a different story.

If United were to sell him, I can't see many better players to ask for in exchange than Mata.

Ruddy wouldn't of been backup, he probably would of been the one to take Cechs place at some point down the line. He's a brilliant keeper, still annoys me that Moyes never gave him a chance. Moyes is good with youth tho isn't he. #myth
