Welcome to my new save.As a Native Indonesian, I'm really excited to start this journey because this will be the first time for me managing an Indonesian team.
I will try to manage from a Third Division team to make this save challenging, finding our way to the top division and Asia Champions League. Cheers !

HELP:

HI COACHES! Anyone know how to beat Celtic FC ? I tried every single formation from 4-3-3 with posession, 3-4-3 counter and 4-2-3-1 counter but it ends up with a lost for us. I lost in all our meetings against them. I also used different type of striker to break their defence but their defence just unbreakable. My defence also too easy to break, my defence played really well against other team even a 0-0 draw away from home against French side LOSC Lille. But against Celtic my defence just too easy for them.

This is my current formation:

https://s31.postimg.org/u5i8anz2j/Dundee_United_Overview_3.png
https://s31.postimg.org/8666kvkcb/Dundee_United_Overview_2.png

This is Celtic Formation:

https://s32.postimg.org/5kw0cyyh1/Celtic_Tactics_Senior_Squad.png
I think they use attacking mentalitiy, high defensive line and narrow shape. Their wingers are so prolific, always find a good postion to score inside my box. I always lost my ball in midfield, they pressed us so well.

This formation really match with my players character and attributes. I usually get a good results with this formation except against Celtic. I also give my players sideline motivation like encouraging them and demanding more but it ain't work for my players against Celtic. Please if you have any ideas what is wrong with my tactic or my players im really open for your critics and suggestions.

THANK YOU

-Tastiano

Review August to October 2016:

August 2016:

Dundee United starts the season with 3 games in a row without win. They lost in their first game this season against Celtic 3-0 at their home. It seems like Brandon Tastiano really can't beat Ronny Della's Celtic. Brandon lost all 5 meetings against Celtic. However, they managed to get through to the European League Group Stage after they beat Lille 2-1 in aggregate. They won their home game 2-1 and managed to hold Lille at their home with 0-0 draw. After 3 games without a win in the league finally they managed to won his first game after humiliating St. Johnstone in front of their fans with 5-1 score. Brandon Tastiano change the team formation in that game from their usual 4-3-3 with possesion mentality to counter attacking 4-2-3-1 with Mulgrew moved back a bit as an Anchor Man and that formation worked really well. Their offensive movement was so intense and they also solid at the defence. Blair Spittal was the star of that match after scoring a brace andhe scored both of them from a great free kicks. After beating St. Johsntone they win against newly promoted Falkirk 2-1 at home.

September 2016:

September is really a great month for them. Brandon Tastiano continue to use 4-2-3-1 as their main formation and it really change how they play. After a slow start earlir last month, they managed to extend their good form in the league. They managed to win two games from three matches in the league and Eiji Kawashima kept the clean sheets in all of the three matches. Not just in the league, they also start their journey in Europa League group stage with a 3-0 win against Legia Warsawa in Wojska Polskiego Stadium. They also managed to get 1 point aftar playing 0-0 draw at home against Turkish giant Galatasaray. The star man this month is Eiji Kawashima. After missing the first 4 games in the league due to injury, he cameback and show that he is a top quality goalkeeper. He get 6 clean sheets from 6 matches this month. What a fantastic run!

http://i.eurosport.com/2016/01/06/1765401-37306156-640-360.jpg

October 2016 :

Eiji Kawashima is relly a man on fire. He extend his fantastic clean sheets run in this month after Dundee Unieted 2-0 win against Patrick Thistle. He broke clubs clean sheets record with 630 minutes without conceding a goal. The Terrors win 3 of their 4 matches in the league. They only lost one game, it's against Celtic FC. It's looks like Dundee United are rapidly becoming Celtic's bogey team. In Europa League, they win 1-0 against Braga at home after academy star Charlie Telfer scores his first goal for Dundee United. But, Braga get their revenge after beating Terrors at their home 3-1. Despite, a quite good run in the league and europe, Dundee fails to continue to the next stage of Scottish League Cup after a 2-0 lost against Rangers.

Since he came as a loanee, Hiram Boateng proved a brilliant signing for Dundee United

Season Review :

It's been a really terrific season for The Terrors. They've showed there are still more yet to come from them as a team, especially with the style of football they play under Brandon Tastiano. They made some fantastic signings in Dimitri Payet and Riku Riski and even Dusan Djuric, who struggled getting into the team earlier this season, finished it scoring important goals and provide assists for his teammates despite going from a winger to central midfielder. Slaven Bilic has been fantastic, taking them from worrying they'd survive in the Premier League to going to Europa League Next season.

They started the season with a 2-2 draw in The New Firm Derby against Aberdeen at Tannadice Park. They get their first win in an away game against Motherwell before they got humiliated at home 3-0 against Celtic. Thier best game last season was when they play St. Johnstone away from home and won 4-1. They worked so hard to finish far from relegation but it ends even beter. They managed to finish 3rd position, just two points ahead of 4th Inverness CT. Brandon Tastiano really give a good impact for this team since he came in as their new manager last summer.

http://e2.365dm.com/16/03/768x432/paul-paton-dundee-united-scottish-premiership_3427025.jpg?20160306104228
Captain Paul Paton leads the team doing round of honour at Tannadice Park.

They also had a good run in Scottish Cup, before their dream to win the trophy ended at the semi-final stage as they were beaten 4-2 by Glasgow Rangers. Dimitri Payet, signed in the summer from Crystal Palace, had been the star man along with captain Paul Paton they really dominate the midfield for The Terrors. One of the player that also had an impressive season is Blair Spittal. Many doubts and critics came for Brandon as he put Blair Spittal in the first team instead of more expereienced player like Sinama-Pongolle, but the wonderkid proved all doubters that he's ready to play in top division with 3 goals, 3 assists and average rating 7.06 in 20 matches as a starter for Dundee United.

February is really a good month for The Terrors. They manage to win four games from five matches. It's not just about their form in the league, but also there is one event that really impressed us all. Yep, it's the 18-year-old striker Giuseppe Panico fantastic long range goal against Hamilton. He scored a goal of the season contender in his debut and Man Of The Match award.

Fans Player Of The Month : Dusan Djuric

http://futhead.cursecdn.com/static/img/15/players/134765.png

After a slow start after arriving at Tannadice park last summer. Djuric finally found his best form this month with three assists and one goal. The advance playmaker really provides a challange for Scott Fraser in the CM position. His dead ball situation is really a threat for other team.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Yep it's january everyone loves this month. Especially, with the transfer window. Terrors activity in the market wasn't that busy. They sign two loan players, Yennaris from Brentford and Panico from Genoa. But, it was not a good month for Dundee United in the league. They only managed to win one game from foru games they have played. The highlight of the month was when they beat Hearts in the 4th round of Scottish Cup. Riku Riski late late goal on the 118th minutes of the match sends them to the next round.

Fans Player Of The Month : Hiram Boateng

Hiram Boateng continue his fantastic form for Dundee United this month. Scoring two goals from 5 matches showed us that he's isn't just an ordinary midfield. He proves that he also has a good mind in front of goal. With his contract with palace run out soon, Brandon wish that he can sign him permanently in the end of the season.

Terrors Loan The New Inizaghi From Genoa

http://www.mondoreale.it/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/esultanza-Panico-620x413.jpg

Giuseppe Panico 18-year-old striker recently dubbed as "The New Inizaghi" officialy signed for Dundee on loan until the end of this season. He is one of the promising talent in Genoa U20 squad. He has scored 8 goals from 17 matches for Genoa U20. He also had one appearence for Genoa first team when he came in as a substitute against Palermo and play for 38 minutes. Brandon is happy to see the younster join the squad and hopefully will soon adapt to Scottish Premiership.

Brandon commented, "He's an exciting talent, we've been watching him playing for Genoa youth team this season. His style of play with high determination reminds me of one of my favorite striker Filippo Inizaghi. But, i won't rush him he's still young and he needs time to adapt in Scotland. "

The Terrors had an option to extend his loan next season if Brandon thinks he performs well for them.

It looks like Dundee United finally found their confidence back after winning against Hamilton last month. But, The Terrors inconsistent performence continues, they lost their first match of this month after being defeated 2-0 by Kilmarnock. After that lost they got 3 match in a row end with draw. They should have beat Inverness at Caledonian Stadium, they lead 3-1 before they allowed two goals in 3 just minutes. It seems like they don't have any commander at defence after Guy Demel gut a torn hamstring back in October. With transfer window soon will be open, a defensive player must be Brandon's first priority in the market.

Fans Player Of The Month : Hiram Boateng

Hiram Boateng is on form for Dundee United this month. He's really dominating the midfield, looked good both in the air an with his feet. He also managed to scored one goal in the match against Hearts. It's not a secret anymore that he has been one of The Terrors key man this season after arriving from Crystal Palace on a season long loan.

This month is not really a good month for Dundee United. They lost twice from three games this month, against Aberdeen and St. Johnstone. They lost their position at 3rd to St. Johnstone and sliding down the table to 4th. It seems like they lost their confidence. Lack of chance created and poor finishing that led them to this two lost in a row. But, in the last match of the month they managed to win against Hamilton. They got their confidence back in that match and it will be a good platform for them in the next month.

Fans Player Of The Month : Scott Fraser

http://futhead.cursecdn.com/static/img/16/players/205145.png

Scott Fraser is really one to watch. The 19-year-old playmaker really has a big contribution for Dundee United this month. His vision and passing are very dangerous. He created chances for his teammates and opened up the play for the team. He showed everyone that he really deserved that new 4 year deal contract with Dundee United.

This month has been an up and down for Dundee United with 2 wins 1 lose and 1 draw. They started this month with unconvincing play against Ross County that neds with a draw. Then, they defeated by Celtic for the second time this season. However, despite their inconsistent performence in this month, they still managed to retain their position at 3rd in the league. Just behind them is St. Johnstone with only 2 points difference.

Its been a really good month for The Terrors as they go undefeated in the league. They Also Get two clean sheets from 3 league matches. Brandon teams formation change from 4-3-3 to 3-4-3 and it worked very well with the team. Billy Mckay is really benefited by this change because he's now playing in his natural position and started to score some goals. However, their form in the league is not as good as their performence in the cup. They got knocked out from the Scottish League Cup after lost against Hearts 1-2 at home. Dundee United now 3rd in the league just 5 points behind the league leaders Aberdeen. Their target is to finish top half this season and they did well so far.

Fans Player Of The Month : Blair Spittal

He is one of the player thar really impressive in this month. Awarded as the Scottish Premiership Young Player Of The Month, scoring 2 goals from 2 matches with average 7.88. Playing as right midfielder in Brandon's 3-4-3 and did really well. He opened the play and made some dangerous ball to the box.

A highly polished performance from Dundee United players saw their team run out 2-0 winners over motherwell at Fir Park. It's a day to remember for Robbie Muirhead and Brandon Tastiano. This is the first win for Brandon as The Terrors manager and the 19-year-old striker is the main actor in this match. His movement off the ball keeps the defence busy throghout this match. Dundee United start the game intensively, they dominats the final third and making some good chances. But, their poor finishing in front of goal made the first half ends goalless 0-0.

Second half started and it's an early goal for Dundee United on 47th minute. An Error from Motherwell's Louis Laing allowed target man Robbie Muirhead to scorea thumping header from a really good cross by Paul Dixon. Three minutes later on 50th minutes Dundee almost double their lead, an effort just outside the box from youngster Scott Fraser is saved by goalkeeper Connor Ripley. Finally, on 78th minutes David Gunning sends a long pass from his own half towards Muirhead to completed the scoring for The Terrors with an incisive finish from 12 meters. Dundee United really dominates this game with 58% posession for them and 5 attempt on target.

It's an entertaining afternoon at Tannadice park as the United's new manager Brandon Tastiano made his debut as the teams manager in the New Firrm Derby ends with 2-2. Dundee opened up the scoreline early in the match, Billy Mckay made a great pass for David Gunning as he finished it with a well struck low finish on the 5th minutes of the game. This the first league goal for him, since he came back to Dundee United after playing for Birmingham last season. After that goal, Aberdeen dominates the game and try to find the equalizer. On the 32nd equalize from a well worked corner, it's Barry Robson scored against his former club. Despite having fair chances, both teams failed to add the scoreline and first half ended with 1-1.

As the second half begins, Dundee United were the better team could have led on 54th minutes, a powerful long shot attempt from Hiram Boateng hit the crossbar. Dundee united dominates the second half and make some chances but none of them become a goal. Finally, Blair Spittal cross on the 83th minutes of the game finds debutant Simon Murray as he heads the ball to tho top corner. Simon Murray came as substitue on 64th minutes and made an intant impact in his debut. It looks like it's a win for Dundee United but a mistake from Murray on 86th minutes allowed Aberdeen to score from a quick counter attack. It was Adam Rooney who scored and beats Kawashima from a close range. Both of the teams failed to score until the whistle blows and the match ends with 2-2. Hiram Boateng was really impressive in this match as he make his debut in scottish football. His passing and movement frequently unsettled the defence and it's looks like he's already settled with the team.
