No although the site was hacked quite a few times where bits of data were lost. Think the forum started a fresh from around 2005ish, so any data before that could of been lost.

By the way I can't upload v1.2 because the file is too large... Can you delete the current link and just make it external?

But millions of people who play Football Manager will not agree with those 50 people. Really should have split the file up.

Further to my post above, might I point out that a newspaper article saying x club is set to land y player is NOT proof.

Proof is announcements on club websites, not speculation in the press.

Based on that as proof, Spurs would have signed about 20 players already this summer, and goodness knows how many Liverpool would have signed.

Need to sharpen up the rules guys or your going to have a lot more work to do to correcting errors.

Offering less money plus a player wouldn't have activated it, therefore Atletico wouldn't have done a deal. They certainly weren't going to sell one of their main assists for less, just to acquire another player.

That makes no sense

£23,000,000 plus Torres for arguments sake looks a better deal than £32,000,000 outright, Athletico need to spend money to replace him anyway so they'll have to spend more or less what they'd have lost with Torres included.

It'll be pretty stupid if they now go ahead and buy Torres from Chelsea this summer.

You made the mistake of what everyone does (including me on our own update) pof making CA/PA be included in the main file.

You should really split CA/PA up into a seperate file as with the way it is at the moment, that will stop a hell of a lot of people downloading your update, its a very touchy subject.

Yes these are to be removed. I've also amended the first page letting anyone know that unconfirmed transfers won't be approved.

What makes using the editor so much faster than the website? I'd be interested to know in what way you think the website could be improved/sped up to make it better, rather than just saying you can't be bothered to use it

On the point of speed, I think if we managed t put all players in the db so it auto retrieves the players ID's would make more people use it, as a lot of people have to load FM up to get an ID.

I understand this may not be possible though.

How would an update request for the entire WPL be implemented? As that hasn't been touched as of yet and I really can't be arsed sending individual requests for every player added, transferred or released by each club. And Afan Lido need to be replaced by Cefn Druids.

Send them over in a PM and i'll mass edit them into the basefile, as thats what kind of purpose it serves

Sorry, very basic question, but where do I download this to/ put the file?

Extract both files from the zip and place them in the following location:

C:\Users\<yourname>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\editor data.

Also the new update has no CA/PA changes at all.
