That would be a great signing. Surely his wages would blow your budget to bits though?

Johno - Thanks mate, glad you liked it, hopefully it can get back to that standard.

Shedender - Sound advice pal, it makes me sounds silly thinking I was so conflicted about a game! IT'S NOT A GAME

Dan - Thankfully he didn't grab a goal, he didn't play very well either for that matter
------------------

Considering reverting to Inter with this save, what are the thoughts amongst you all? Stopped enjoying the save once I left (which I did say will probably happen!) but luckily I split the save meaning I can return to my original plan.

Let me know what you think!

EDIT: Kind of went ahead with it anyways but thoughts still welcome! Hopefully get a new update out tonight

Totally agree with you, especially regarding Sameobi. He's got a really laid back attitude to the game, especially in the way he runs. What's even more frustrating is that he goes past people easily at times but like you say, his end product is awful and we lose it.

Williamson is only good as a batter-ram type header winner and nothing else. He even laughed at himself at one point when he got the ball on the right wing and cleared it straight out for a goal kick with his attempted cross

I'd also recommend Santon, I had him at Inter from day 1 and he was outstanding. Home grown at the club too!

Pretty poor game by both teams yesterday down to the fact that neither could pass a ball to anyone in the same shirt. We did create quite a few chances to be fair which you just knew was going to cost us.

Really frustrating goal to conceded, given that it started with us having the ball in the corner with Obertan, 5 backward passes resulted in Krul punting it (as he always does) and handing the ball straight back to Stoke. Abeid could have taken a touch as it went back to him, he had about 10 yards of space and a lot of time but he decided to play a short pass back to Williamson who did the same to Krul. If Krul had a little bit more about him (say he was De Gea) for example he could have taken a touch and defused the situation as the striker jumped straight past him. I'm not denying that he's a great keeper, he made some quality saves yesterday but he really needs a bit more composure on the ball.

Dan - Big transfer window, I agree. i also agree that selling Sterling to rivals probably isn't the best plan but that money was not to be sniffed at! To be honest the Community Shield was good to watch for me too, I wasn't that arsed about it and so it was thoroughly entertaining to see us score a load of goals, mess up and still win the cup

Poe - Cheers pal, glad you've enjoyed it. I've wasted a lot of time at work writing it

George14brfc - Thanks George. Really enjoyed Inter, kept a split save of it for me to return to in the future as i really did like the idea of the challenge. The trio you mentioned at Bayern were insane. I agree Mario is so overrated, however you'll see from the next month or two of results that I'm benefiting from it and so I'm not sure how much I care . Welcome back mate, looking forward to seeing you writing again too

Johno - yeah he wouldn't have gone if it wasn't for the money!

Angelo Ionescu - Thanks mate, hopefully I can do you proud

September 2017

http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p11/KEZ_7/Liverpool/September2017Results_zpsacfddf58.png

The month started with a great win over potential title rivals Man United. It was our two Cameroonians that rocked up with the goals before Rooney grabbed them a late consolation

Tottenham was a frustrating performance in which we dropped more points, almost rendering the United win pointless.

WE made a much more successful start to the Champions League this year than I did at Bayern. We managed to batter BATE and rest a few of our main players in the process

Resting them clearly worked as we traveled to 5under1and where Mario was on fire, netting an incredible 4 in a 5-0 rout

We then changed the whole 11 for the visit of Man City in the Capital One Cup. I expected to see them rotate their side too but they came at us full strength. Our team, including a 16 year old striker managed to hold City to a 1-1 draw sadly losing out on penalties

To finish the month we traveled to Fulham and again we bagged a load of goals. Mario made it 7 in 4 and as we managed to bag another win and jump to the top of the table

--- Apologies again for the slow updates, kind of reflective of my free time at the moment!---

Outstanding season, Kike and Deulofeu bossing it!

You've got a decent budget to strengthen the team there too so it should be a good summer

Interesting challenge you're taking on here. I'm sure those finances will start to clear up once those loans drop off. Who has stepped into the breach at West Ham?

Shola - Love the name . The topics will vary to be honest, some of it will be a bit historical, some will be current topics and some will be coaching based stuff. I don't really want to go down one set route, if I do it that is

Franck - I like that name too, seems to be fairly popular on twitter as a hashtag

Afternoon all.

I'm considering getting into blogging about football and I know there's already quite a lot out there. Just wondered if any of you had:

A - Blogging advice (I'm completely new to this)
B - Examples of your favourite/popular football blogs
C - anything else you think might be helpful

I know that this will seem like an aimless activity (and it probably is) but I quite fancy giving it a go
