Looking positive but very unlucky with the injuries especially Wisdom. Fingers crossed your replacements hit the ground running

What a strange season you are having. Very strange to see so many players under performing. Fingers crossed you can have a great 2nd half to the season following a busy (but what appears to be successful) Jan window.

It's still worth having the future fee there just in case. I've often taken players on loan, to cover an injury crisis (like you've done with Gervinhio) but i'd rather have the fee there just in case.

Wow, some big business there, I bet the fans weren't too happy with the players sold but those that have come in should more than satisfy them!

Nightmare about the future fee thing with loan players, it can sometimes prove a pain when trying to sort out the initial loan but can be a god send if the player performs and their value shoots up.

Have you got a future fee in Calum Chambers' loan deal?

Some good signings and should help with this seasons top 4 push

Well done on another good season, improved on last seasons total with more competitions and games played so can't be too hard on yourself.

Fingers crossed you can get the takeover done and dusted to give you time in the transfer window to strengthen ahead of next season.

Good to see the takeover complete which will allow you to strengthen in Jan, even better that it looks like you won't be replaced

Difficult month there. Sure you can turn things round and ensure this is just a blip on what is shaping up to be a very successful season.

Hepburn-Murphy Extends Loan Spell At Hartlepool

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/xDErLdyjKlvNU2yfOLCkPyv6wvlqxDNuWRr4hy7Z.png

Hartlepool's top goalscorer Rushian Hepburn-Murphy has extended his loan spell at the club until the end of the season. Hepburn-Murphy's deal was due to run out in a few weeks time and has signed a new loan deal.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, 18, has scored eleven goals since joining the club, including three in his last two matches. It was rumoured that Aston Villa were looking to bring the talented youngster back to the club however have made the decision to allow Hepburn-Murphy to stay at Adam Boyd's Hartlepool side. Hepburn-Murphy has set his eyes on promotion with Hartlepool this season: "I've loved my time here and promotion is certainly the aim, I'm hoping I can score more goals and then we'll see what happens".

Possibly the best bit of business in the Jan transfer window for you, even though it's only 4th Jan!

Have you got an agreed fee in the loan deal for Loftus-Cheek this time? Seems every year you get him he plays out of his skin but his value goes up and up, notice in previous posts Chelsea wanted £15m for him.

Looks like some good signings and looking forward to seeing what this season brings.

Season long loan deals cannot be recalled unless you are in a transfer window. Also any loan where the team has paid a fee upfront prevents you from recalling the player.

I love when FM throws up these shocks and close calls!

Back to you though and congrats on a fantastic achievement. Good luck next season

So unlucky to lose the league title on goal difference especially when it's a right back that scores it, and especially when that right back is joining you (reminds me of David Trezeguet scoring the winner for France against Italy in Euro 2000 just as he was about to move to play his football in Italy.)

I'm sure you'll collect another league title soon!

Great season and looking forward to seeing how the youngsters you've signed develop.

It's always good taking an unfancied team and turning them around from a Championship/lower prem team, into one that upsets the big boys and pushes for title/CL/Europa positions!

Surprised Mendez-Laing asked to leave having featured a number of times for you, but suppose you get some players like that who believe they are bigger and better than they are. Have any of the squad reacted to his demotion to the reserves/youth team?

Pennant will be a decent signing and should get a few assists out of him. Any targets in Jan window or are you waiting to see who/what becomes available?

Great story here and delighted to see the amazing progress made since you took over! I know how you feel with respect to the takeover and maybe being replaced by one of your backroom team as I had the exact same thing happen to me when I was in charge of Newcastle, and the new board wanted to replace me with John Carver! Thankfully I was allowed time to show them what I could do and I'm sure if it does happen to you, you'll show them just what an good team you've created and how important you are to that team! The offer of an interview at Preston NE is proof of that!

Just read through this story and have to say you've done a great job. I'm not playing FM this year due to lack of time to really get into it so will be enjoying others stories a lot more this season.

Risky signing with Ranger but if he doesn't cause issues then you've got a good player on your hands, especially for League 2.

I may have missed it but did you not try and get Hyde back this season after his successful loan spell last season?
