Sure I heard somewhere that the Mayans didn't take into account leap years so we should all be dead by now anyway or something.

Aye, we should have snuffed it 11 months ago or something...

On the subject of blowing credit cards etc, wasn't there something on a few weeks ago about American's buying bunkers etc in the case of 'events' like this?

Just want to double check something with any of you that have used Comodo Antivirus in the past.

With the free antivirus you get a 30 trial for Comodo's Geek Buddy and Anti-Error tools. My trials expired ages ago and when I started my laptop earlier a pop-up for Anti-Error said there were issues it needed to fix. Cause for concern or typical marketing trick?

Edit: Seems it's just a marketing thing.

Thank god that's over. 3 wins on the spin now but it was tough going, we fell asleep in the second half and once we were down to 10 we struggled to string a couple of passes together.

Mauri must have had some money on both sides having a player sent off. Idiot.

Been a odd game so far, Roma's goal probably shouldn't have counted as there was a clear foul on Lulic in the box but after that the ref seemed a bit biased towards us, he certainly fell for more of our play acting than Roma's. Our second came from a free kick that probably shouldn't have been given either.

I think that's something like our second or third win over Dundee United in 14 or 15 games. Have to say I never thought we'd be top of the table, or even in the top 6 after that first game where United were unlucky to just knock 3 past us...

Better from Lazio, an easy 3-0 win over Panathinakios who were pretty rotten, no wonder even Maribor managed to knock 3 goals past them.

Cavani 4 - 2 Dnipro. Not a bad comeback after still being 2-1 down at 76 minutes.

The 'Keep calm and...' phrases aren't half as bad as hash-tagging on Twitter, come on now.

One or two people have actually hash-tagged on here... Thankfully that was on the old forum.

It's not 100% relevant, but there was a good piece on In Bed With Maradona about Falkirk's youth policy and the influence of La Masia.

These have some pretty general info as well: thesun.co.uk & dailymail.co.uk

Disaster of a weekend for me, got the Man United v Arsenal score right but was 100% wrong about everything else over the other two days.

Thought this was a good little stat when I read it earlier, after this weekend's games Argentinian players have now overtaken Brazilians in goals scored in the Serie A, 886 to 879. Personally I'd always assumed the Argies would have been second behind the Italians, but I suppose a lot of them were oriundi and would have been counted as Italians after they'd moved, gained citizenship or been capped....

Really not looking forward to the derby, our performance this afternoon was up there with the worst I can remember while it's been a few years since I saw Roma play as well as they did this evening.

Well that was a painful 90 minutes. Not really anything positive I can take from the game, we were totally outplayed and the defending for 3 of the 4 goals was laughable. Even the 4th was a penalty we never should have conceded.

It's probably been a massive culture shock for them. It takes time to bed in a defense and it can't help that Cribari, Faure and that Greek guy have never played in Scotland, never mind the Third Division. There probably isn't a language all three are fluent in then they have to understand the Scottish lads...

Difficult game for us this evening, with no Ledesma or Hernanes and a Torino side happy to stick 8/9 men behind the ball and hit on the counter it was always going to be a tough night. It didn't help that Rocchi hasn't played all year and started tonight and looked as sharp as a bowling ball...

Still, plenty of goals tonight, even in the games without Mr Zeman involved. Also, Cagliari really seem to have turned a corner since sacking Ficcadenti, that's four wins on the spin now. Or it could just be the feel good factor of finally moving into their building site/public park of a stadium.

Aye, he's still not got a clue what his best 11 is and I can't see this 3-4-3 experiment being all that successful either.

This game's been a bit like our game with Milan, they stumble through the game and only when their a few goals down do they wake up and start playing. Palermo have been good though, a totally different side to the one we played earlier in the season.

Edit: Should have said Palermo were good till that first Milan goal went in...

You said Scottish football isn't suffering, the 'facts' show that it is.

Lower TV money, lower sponsorship money, drastically lower attendances.

Next year will be the year when there's a big impact.

Bit of an exaggeration that isn't it? I've had a wee look myself and of the 10 sides in the SPL over both years 6 have seen attendances increase and 4 (Celtic, Motherwell, Hearts and Killie) have seen a drop, though for Motherwell and Killie it's just a couple of hundred. Seeing as a lot of clubs had shrinking crowds up till 2011/12, that's pretty good going IMO.

It's a bit early to starting thinking everything is ok, I'll agree with you there, but given all the stuff over the summer about the likes of Motherwell, Kilmarnock etc going to the wall, I'd say things off the pitch have been pleasantly dull so far.

Dreadful first half from us, better in the second but the game was totally ruined by the ref. He chalked off a good goal from Mauri, though it was a tough call to be fair, but also should have given a penalty for Cuadrado's hand ball. Also there were quite a few soft yellows on both sides and the second yellow on Ledesma and Hernanes red were both harsh and really spoiled the end of the half.

Nothing against Celtic but it was great seeing the lose yesterday, their going to win the league anyway but it'd be a shame for them to be well clear of the pack before we'd even got to November, especially with us setting the pace for the other 11 sides.

In some cases, like mine, it's an extra hour of drinking.

Fuck my head hurts.

Same here, we even had a little countdown to the clocks going back an hour and got a free round of shots.
