Seems a few of our players were out on Saturday night celebrating their win and somebody punched Gary Deegan in the face, breaking his jaw.

Edit: Seems The Sun ran a full page story about today which included a nice big picture of Lewis Stevenson, who wasn't even there...

Was certainly my favorite when I was younger. Anyone else remember when ITV used to run through all the films now and then? I think it was always a Wednesday night and maybe another on the Saturday.

Not cigarettes but drink when we could get it, though it was often just a 6 pack in the park between a couple of us then trying to act sober when we went into the disco. Not sure why you 'pity my upbringing', pretty much everybody I know despite being from vastly different backgrounds in some cases, started experimenting with alcohol around 13/14.

Maybe it's a Scottish thing

Poor second half from us. Every time we go a couple of goals up the team goes to sleep, surrenders possession and we end up spending 45 minutes on the back foot.

A brilliant freekick from Hernanes has put us 1-0 up away to Pescara this afternoon. That more than makes up for his dreadful penalty against Maribor in the week.

Apparently you guys have sent a scout to our game with Pescara this afternoon to have a look at their teenage goalkeeper Mattia Perin. He's on loan there from Genoa this season and Milan are among the other clubs with an eye on him. Given the odd feeder club relationship Genoa have with Milan it's safe to say they'll be top of the queue should Genoa decide to sell.

True, but their certainly more likely to splash out on him than Inter. If anything it'd be an Italian club that would take Tevez or whoever has to leave to make room for him.

Realistically I don't think any club in England could afford him. You've got to be looking at anywhere between £40-60 million for him and that kind of outlay is going to come if the two clubs who could afford him, Chelsea and Man City, sold their best strikers, Torres and Aguero. I could imagine a trip to Inter Milan or maybe even Barcelona (at a stretch) if David Villa moves on, but his status in the world game and the way clubs are set up at the moment it doesn't seem like an obvious move is on the cards.

I can't see Inter or any other Italian club shelling out enough to bring him to the peninsula, assuming he'd even go with the likes of Chelsea and City offering god knows what in wages and signing on fees.

Good win for the Cabbage especially us keeping a clean sheet for the first time in ages, Doyle and Griffiths look a good partnership as well. Dundee really don't look cut out for this level though, which is a shame as we really need two strong Dundee clubs.

Borini took half a season before he started scoring regularly at Roma last season so it could be a similar story with Liverpool.

Also, I doubt you guys could have got him much cheaper than you did seeing as Roma had just spent €5m on the other 50% of his rights earlier in the window.
