I just find it really difficult to read in terms of the actual language structure. Entire pages with no paragraph breaks, aimless description, meaningless interaction. It's brilliant because that style is so deliberately used to desensitise you to everything that happens in his life, to show how fucking pointless everything is. But it's still a really frustrating read.


Around halfway through you do find yourself skimming the paragraphs describing what the dozen folk in a meeting, party etc are wearing.

Aye, they finally agreed a price with us after he threatened to take them to court. After the failed bid in the winter and now all this fuss I really hope he's worth all the bother, a lot of Lazio fans don't seem very impressed with him.

Lazio were very close to signing him in the winter window and since then a lot of our fans have kept a very close eye on him, week in, week out he's not the sort of player you'd want to depend on.

That pretty much covers the Fernandinho transfer.


Everything I've seen has a €9m basic fee and €3m in performance related add-ons, he's also meant to have agreed a basic wage of €5.5m a year, though again, there'll be various clauses etc bumping it up a bit.

Looks like we're in for a wee trip up to see Franck if Malmo can get past the might of Drogheda.

Also, St Johnstone probably won't be a huge amount better than Crusaders, especially that early in the season when the players are still working off the summer drinking/takeaway weight.

Yeah, I think they've had a few bids rejected. I suspect Pantilimon is/was the back-up option. If it happens, I think he'd be a great signing.

We're being linked with Lazio's Stefan Radu, for what must be the 6th transfer window in a row. Is he that good?


He'd be a decent signing for you lot but wouldn't improve the first 11, I think his main selling point is he can play CB and LB in a back 4, on the left of a back 3. Also, unlike Kolarov he can actually defend.

Personally I think it's bullsh*t to fill space, he's happy in Rome, a key part of the first team, tied down to a longterm contract and we've no need to sell players to raise money.

With all that in our favour Lotito will screw you guys over the transfer fee, there's no way you'll get anything like value for money, I mean Kolarov wanted to leave and the fans didn't like him yet Lotito still made you pay over the odds and throw in Garrido.

Anderlecht's chairman has apparently confirmed that they've accepted a €5.5m bid from us for Lucas Biglia, the player and his agent have been going on about a move to Italy for a while now so hopefully we'll manage to snap him up.

Diego Novaretti who's previously been rumoured to Manchester City is apparently going to sign for Lazio, pending a medical.


Monaco were interested in him as well, though not sure how true that is.

Carlo Cancellieri (close to Mancini apparently) has been interviewed about him and said he thought he'd be a good addition at City but nothing more than that, he was also training with their reserves rather than the first team.

Nothing 'supposedly' about it I'm afraid, he's been pretty poor for Roma, though part of that's no doubt down to his refusal to learn Italian.

They'll have to try and balance Europe and Serie A again next season and I can't see them doing it with just two forwards. Last year they had those two plus Ranegie and Fabbrini/Maicosuel as second strikers.

I think they'll bring Vydra back and send big Ranegie to Watford for a year.
