Well in breaking news Jackson has taken over his own Nations team, with the hope of leading them to the world cup and trying to restore some national pride after England's abymsal showing against Iceland. It's going to be interesting showing to see if Jackson drinks out the same poisoned chalice as Hodgson or actually do things differently, well we will see

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/AnhODByOMYR3fTh5ulTskvBHVwUx23Iv00xC7erj.jpg

In the first game against Scotland, it was a very tough fought battle as most people would expect, but England prevailed over the hostile Hampden Park crowd and gained a 1-0 win over the Scots. Danny Welbeck tried to stamp his place in the England team with the winning goal, especially after scoring 8 goals in the Euro's.

England followed this win up with a 1-0 win in their friendly with a totally rotated team with players such as Joe Gomez, Jack Grealish and Patrick Roberts earning their first caps. England dominated play again but just couldn't get more than the one goal, with Danny Welbeck being the saviour again with the winning goal

Englands third game in the Qualifiers was against Lithuania at Wembley and England would need to placate some of the home fans, and England did exactly that with a comfortable win.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/0KQCzVXRPq2qsU13kn1g821zGNpVhB9Zlyw6iuaM.jpg

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/AYyy5jWtOwpCEyfUqxbsip6b729tzwO4f3woNAc0.jpg

They followed up the good win against the lithuanian's with a solid trip away to slovakia, with yet another 1-0 win. England seemed to have built themselves a pretty solid defence but admittedley against pretty poor teams. Theo Walcott was the match winner in this game with a well taken finish from inside the penalty.

England followed these solid results with a win against Malta, winning 2-0 with the goals coming Wayne Rooney and debutant Ravel Morrison, and a draw against South Korea in a friendly.

So far it's looking good for Jackson's first campaign as England manager.

Well Belgium had qualified for the Euro's as everyone would expect from such a strong team, but the fans said they would be happy to get out the group stages and the first knockout round.

In the Group Belgium got off to a pretty bad start, because after ten minutes Naingollan decided to lunge in on Pogba which earned him a red card. You could forgive Belgium fans for being pessimistic here when you go down to the home nation, but Belgium battled magnificently and came out the game with a 2-0 win, Eden Hazard and Origi with the goals.

The second win was a more standard 3-0 win against the Greeks, with Lukaku getting himself two goals and making it very hard choice for the Belgium manager.

The final group game ended 4-1 to Belgium with another great performance.

In the Knockout Rounds Belguim were tasked with stopping Ronaldo and his Portuguese team mates, it was a close match all the way through, and finally got settled on penalties with Ciman scoring the winning penalty.

Quarter Final draw place Belgium up against the Germans

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/iPEuCKyD3GZic5YUvZgNhahQX5YGWG82NuaiYUpj.jpg

The Belgians played absoloutely out their skins against a team which was supposed to be stronger all over, but the Belgians showed up on the day, and led by Eden Hazard, they dispatched the Germans pretty comfortably, which led to the Semi-Finals being played against Spain.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/3mV11ZwDViuFVstcINgRTqXeXD3Cm181ShWRC969.jpg

It all ended in heartache, with Belgium dominating the possesion and shots but just wasn't to be with Spain scoring a late goal, from all people Dani Carvajhal.

The Belgians moved up two places in the World Rankings to number 2.

So whats going to happen to the English Manager with Roy Hodgson failing in his job massively.

Will Jackson return home or will he stay with the Red Devils he steered so well to a semi final place

There was a major talking point in Jackson's second squad selection, and that was the exclusion of Thomas Vermaelen, and Jackson stated that it was down to lack of appearances, and Vermaelen was not happy about being left out. Jackson stated 'I know Thomas wasn't happy to be left out but it shows how much he wants to be part of the team which shows passion to wear the colours'

Belgium had a tough away trip to Wales in Jackson's third game, and the obvious welsh threat came from the superstar Gareth Bale.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/IYVhZlcIk2lqPUMX5jW7aJRzP5I0bC77AUhDTeCB.jpg

The Belgians managed to keep Bale in check, but was surprised by Tom Lawrence who chipped in with two goals, which denied Belgium the chance to qualify in this game, and that they would have to wait for the away trip to Israel.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Jhz41DyYP1D2682keBBWDDPZJYgyETRpl78Xjo7O.jpg

Israel got of to a very good start, scoring within 18 seconds but the Red Devils battled back with a ferocity and quality to show that they were not going to be denied with a equaliser in the second minute with a Kevin de Bruyne goal, and from their Belgium took control of the game, and made sure they were going to be travelling to France.

Most of the press were expecting a big win for Belgium in Jackson's first game as manager, and in the pre match press conference Kai Jackson was just hopeful of a win for Belgium, he said 'I'm just looking for a positive start, I know how important international games are to the people of the country. So obviously there is a lot of pressure, but you know it's just one game and I'm going to try guiding the lads through it'

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/LwWrCbJcGbCqmfMngm3vPwZpzFzpStx77gWIa62J.jpg

The new Belgium manager got off to a great start, with a very big performance, to put a statement out to the group on how Belgium are going to play under the new manager.

With eight goals scored and the debut of Youri Tielemans, who rounded his performance off with a goal.

Jackson was looking forward to the second game against Cyprus and thought it was going to be a lot tougher than the first game, but was still confident of gaining a positive result and making it a qualification campiagn to remember.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/1zu79pb4TcBSauZ6vgHm3ctWwOc0fxF9MxDBakbB.jpg

The second game didn't get off to a good start with Cyprus taking a early lead but Belgium came back to win well.

In a press conference announced earlier today, The Belgian FA have announced their new manager, A total known quantity in 28 year old Englishman Kai Jackson. He played 30 games for England, scoring two goals.

Although the Young Englishman seemed to have a promising career in football before a series of knee injuries forced him into a early retirement. So he took the step into management and his first job role was a big one after Marc Wilmots walked out on Belgium sensationally halfway through the qualifying tournament.

Kai Jackson has some pretty big shoes to fill, and only time will tell how well he does in the international set up.

Jackson will be starting his qualifying campaign with two home games against Andorra and Cyprus, and he will be hoping that big wins will help solidify Belgium's position on the top of the group

Five games into the new season and we finally catch up with Mourinho to see how the start of the season has panned out for him, he said 'Look the first few games are all about trying to settle down on a formation, a preffered starting XI and to gel new players in. Not a lot can be told in the first few games, but it is good to be coming back and playing competitive football yet again'

Bolstered by the four new signings of Hazard, James, Carvahjal and Matic this United squad looks formiddable.

Also Mourinho has not hung around selling players either with fringe players such as Young and Felliaini leaving the club.

The biggest shocks of the summer were the sales of Ibrahimovic and Kramer, who he only signed last season, upon this news I managed to ask the special one why these players left, Jose replied 'Ibrahimovic needed to go for one reason and one reason only, although he was quality and instrumental in helping us knock out Barcelona, but we did not see that kind of form consistentley which was a big downside as only Martial, Rooney and Lingard made it into double figures for the season, and I did not see him scoring us 30 goals a season, and with the emergence of Martial, I think Ibra would agree with me, it was maybe time for him to go. As for Kramer, I let him go because I thought it was unfair to him to keep him at the club whilst he wasnt playing enough games, and him and I came to loggerheads last season a few times about the playing time'

When I went to speak to Kramer about this issue, Kramer's agent said 'My client does not wish to speak about Man Utd or Jose Mourinho'

But five games into the league season, the desicion regarding Ibrahimovic seems to of worked, with Martial on fire with ten goals in the first 10 games, and the lads are playing with a bit of freedom, and moving it quickly around without a natural vocal point up front. Marcus Rashford has emerged this season with 4 goals in the first ten games, after only scoring one goal in 13 games last season. Rooney is also settled more into his midfield role, and without the captaincy this season seems to be playing without a pressure on his shoulders.

The first Champions League game was a exciting one for the neutral, with Man Utd scoring seven goals against what is easily the weakest team in the champions league group

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/NyxlL0pK2gWXIk7RNaLhCNFUmRv7A0xEqSuZy8Vz.jpg

After having the honour of following Man Utd this season, I would like to say how much of a good job that Jose did with what he had available. With a third place finish in the league, and reaching the semi's in the Champions League and The F.A cup it was a season of falling at the final hurdle, but with memorable wins against Barcelona and Stoke City, there was signs of hope for the Red Devils.

Thats all for this season and I look forward to seeing what Jose Mourinho does with the resources this season, after being promised £100 million to spend of improving the squad

We have been sat in the post match conference for the game Man United and Barcelona for twenty-five minutes waiting for the special one.....and all the press are waiting very very patiently. Then we look to the side and in strides a very smug looking Jose Mourinho. Every one is clamouring to ask him about the game that all of us just witnessed, a stunning comeback led by vice captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who walks in beside his manager looking equally as happy. So I make it goal to be asking the first question to a manager who has a topsy turvy season.

When Jose looks at me I make sure I get the question in and I asked him how it felt to get one over on his old team, he replies 'Look its not over yet, but yes it does feel pretty damn special'

Jonathan Pierce of bbc sport gets a question into Ibrahimovic and the response is one of a very smug child who got what he wanted for christmas, but to see the Swede as happy as he was, makes it very clear what he thought of the result. 'It was a great win by the boys and it was a real team effort to come back the way we did'

We have just spoken to Jose Mourinho about the Champions League draw and asked about his teams chances of making it through to the next round? Mourinho said 'Well this is what happens when you finish second in the group stages, you come up against big teams and they are no different'

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/pnArDg1rIwEd9sZitnPv0Ddzv5zHw0WIotUmWsL6.jpg

Mourinho has history with Barcelona, when he was a coach working under Sir Bobby Robson, and also has managed against them many times in the past with his various clubs. Mourinho's record against Barca is 9 wins 2 draws with 10 losses, so hopefully we will all get a close game and a fascinating tie.

We also spoke to another player with history at Barcelona, and that person is Man Utd's top goalscorer this season Zlatan Ibrahimovic, we asked him how he felt about the draw and he had this to say 'I'm so excited to go back to the Nou Camp and show them what they are missing. I enjoyed playing there, but now I'm looking to get trophies with Man Utd and if that means knocking out Barcelona to do that, then so be it' Ibrahimovic is a new signing for Man Utd having been signed from PSG for £23 million, and has been in good for this season scoring 9 goals in 24 games for the Red Devils

The United fans are very excited to draw barcelona, but are also pessimistic about knocking out the Spanish giants.

We have been speaking to Jose Mourinho about the form of Manchester United this season, and how inconsistent they have been, and where the struggles are.

Mourinho said this about the form 'I'll admit we have been poor, and have been inconsistent. But we are all striving to improve the form and become more consistent. There were a lot of bad results in the past couple of months but the effort has been there'

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TM3QUcJjv5D1IQPtTLa2SMXb94DlwFaXyLh5RML0.jpg

Mourinho has also stated that the champions league form has not been good enough and that they should of finished top of the group realisticly.

Wayne Rooney the captain of Man United has said this 'We haven't been good enough just yet, but I think we are all working towards to a better standard of performance, the way we lost the wolfsburg tie was shocking and since then we have buckled down with the style of play and really started showing how good we are'

Also when asked about his new role in midfield he said this 'I understand the needs of the team, and obivously I would like to be the main striker, but as long as I play anywhere I will give my best and be the leader that the gaffer has trusted me to be'

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/63OBh72YpjFPJVRvkr3VlnKNGxA6AK4pUNPGlP0O.jpg

The goals were set out at the start of the season to Jose Mourinho, and although they haven't been the best so far, there are more than enough games for this season to be a memorable one for Man United

After the second leg win against Panathanikos of Greece, Mourinho travelled to the UEFA headquarters for the champions league draw and it put them up against some tough teams, Basel of Switzerland, Wolfsburg of Germany and PSV of Holland.

Mourinho said in the interview 'I'm really looking forward to the Champions League this season the draw wasn't the easiest but thats part of the excitement. I'm looking forward to it'.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/zmlED8uic6OqviI7T4rr6I7IKmm7RBxkkzuYgGbi.jpg

The league form of United went downhill after the Champions league draw though, with three 1-0 losses in succession, and a loss to Basel in there as well.

Mourinho was very unhappy with the run of form, and refused to go to the press conferences allowing Ryan Giggs to take the lead. Ryan had a fair bit to say about these games and how United were playing 'We haven't deserved to lose any of these games, and it's been hard on all the players. Everyone at the club are determined to turn this run of form around. It's all about turning the form round and theres no better place to start'

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/3aaqy3yR6EyLj1ravdvm4bo8chKBx5nxWZGWpNpk.jpg

Even with the bad form at least Man United are moving up the league now with some good results, but with the next run of fixtures, it looks like it is going to be tough for mourinho but if the past is anything to go by, Mourinho is the man that can turn a club around, and put the mentality of winners across, and make it happen.

The first European tie was played in Greece of Mourinho's reign as United mnager went very well. Mourinho decided to start with a experimental side, handing out starts to some on the younger players and fringe players. The result was a very good one, with United coming out with a solid win,

The game started out with United attacking and that was the story of the game. United got a important early goal with a strike from Andreas Pereira scoring his first goal for United from 20 metres. the rest of the first half had chances which United did not take advantage of.

The second half started out the same with United attacking from the outset looking to improve on the away lead. Finally substitute Mhkitarayn scored the second goal on 84th min which put the advantage of this two tie European game firmly in United's hands heading back to Old Trafford.

Man Utd starting XI: De Gea, Varela, Rojo, Bailly, Borthwick-Jackson, Fellaini, Schneiderlin, Young, Lingard, Pereira, Martial. Subs Schweinsteiger for Schneiderlin 69, Depay for Pereira 69, Mkhitarayn for Lingard 69

The first premier league game of the season has been played, and it was a very interesting fixture between to rivals.

Arsenal vs United at the Emirates was a very intruiging game for Jose, and it shows the new manager where the weaknesses are.

From start to finish Arsenal came out to dominate United, and that is what they did. Mourinho will not be happy to of been beaten so bad in his first game as manager, especially to one of United's closest rival. The game finished 3-0 to Arsenal and it was the latest battle between Wenger and Mourinho and once again it was not dull, with Mourinho getting more furious as the Man United squad showed a lack of talent to keep up with the Arsenal squad.

Poor performances from both of United's full backs allowed the goals to be scored.

Man Utd Starting XI: De Gea, Darmian, Smalling, Stones, Shaw, Schweinsteiger, Kramer, Depay, Herrera, Mhkatarayn, Ibrahimovic. Subs on:Rooney For Schweinsteger 59 min Martial for Ibrahimovic 59 min
