ABOVE LAZIO - although that will count for nothing if it all goes wrong next Sunday. So the banner '26/05/13 - win or escape' from tonight still stands, despite beating Napoli.

Milan scraped 3rd. They were losing until the 84th minute when a penalty (surprise) got them back in the game. Once they scored that to level up it was pretty obvious what was gonna happen next. Montella's done a banging job with Fiorentina though.

Inter are awful. Like really, really awful. I say it every week but it's just unbelievable, I didn't think it was possible to go from that good to that sh*t in 3 years.

Well ground out by Arsenal (although Newcastle didn't offer much at all). Decent effort from Spurs though I think overall - 72 points, United won it with 80 a couple of years back. Was funny when Spurs fans were celebrating 'cos they thought Newcastle scored

I know it wasn't all about the result today for United but I bet throwing away a 5-2 lead will annoy Ferguson for a bit, knowing how much he wants to win every game.

Stelling said he was surprised to see West Ham 10th because he thought they'd be down the bottom this season - he must have forgot they've got Big Sam in charge.

Heard Carragher hit the post with a long ranger, would have been quality had that gone in!

Must win games for both Arsenal and Wigan tonight, so should be a decent game. A draw means nothing to either.

Lets be honest, there's a little bit of all of us that wants to see it happen purely and solely for Piers Morgan's reaction.

That would be awesome, to be fair. He'd have to think of a Fabregas hashtag to go with his current favourites - #VanPurseStrings, #IvanTheTerrible and #WengerTheSeller.

33, but the role he plays will enable him to keep going for a while yet I think.

Was the Bosingwa abuse because of his smile after the Reading game or did he look like he wasn't putting in any effort today?

What do you make of Joshua King's season and future, BR? Apparently he's being linked with a move to M'boro.

He's pretty erratic - got pace to burn but not much of an end product or football brain. Can be extremely frustrating at times.

That said, pace is a good thing to have in this league and maybe his end product would improve with a run of games (he was in and out the team and had some injuries) and a manager for longer than 2 months who could work on that side of his game, so I'd keep him

My arguments were that Martinez could win trophies at Everton, given the experience he had with a bottom team at Wigan.

Ah right, thought you were questionning Moyes! Yeah he could do, if he gets it.

Sh*t game. Failed to make the man advantage count, Muntari's behaviour was outrageous. Totti got sent off too but thankfully won't miss the Coppa final.

Martinez won more trophies than Moyes.

So have Alex McLeish and Steve McClaren to name two, it doesn't all come down to trophies. The job Moyes did over a decade can't be denied.

(Not putting Martinez in the same category as McLeish and McClaren btw. Rate Martinez and think he'd be a good choice for Everton)

That's Lazio recorded their third win in a row, if Milan do us a favour tonight we're guaranteed to finish above Roma in the league.

We've got Napoli on the final day so I think whatever happens tonight you'll be above us Can see us only getting one more point.

If we hadn't have messed up against Palermo, Chievo and fecking Pescara we'd be a lot closer to the CL places and tonight would have been a huge game......

Go on Wigan. Made up for them. No other team down the bottom would have been capable of playing as well against City as Wigan did today - especially the way they played, effortlessly keeping possession in City's half at times. Some excellent youngsters too.

Mancini sounded confident he'd still be there next season, time will tell I guess.

His managerial career started off so well, for four years at Rovers so it was no fluke either. Everyone thought he was destined for the top.

But yeah, now I don't think a top-flight club would/should go near him.

I could imagine Laudrup doing really well at Everton.

It's a crucial decision though, all it takes is one bad appointment and suddenly all the hard work and progress of the last few years is undone.
