APRIL 2020
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/nMOSb8aAVWMEqkv7ocoi3tzaTlZFkGzv7xIpZqxq.jpg
We've had an amazing month which started off with a 5-0 win against Southampton followed up by a 3-0 win over Leicester City, which was also away from home. We were up against Real Madrid and managed to convincingly beat them 3-0 before drawing to Brighton mid-week, but with our fit and strongest team, we managed to even beat them 3-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/RKNzSCnPft23SHOcgWEchV8swDGpMfFe03oI7QBG.jpg
We sit 3rd in the league table with 2 games left. Lingard is leading the ladder for most assists as he has racked up 10 assists as well as 14 goals in the league.

BOARD TRANSFER BUDGET
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/mo3QoXrlUVIFU38uJpwltY8S3Rkifw67PTeUj76X.jpg
Following our confirmation of a place in the Champions League next season, the board have set an initial transfer budget of over 200 million pounds.

EPL FINISH
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/EYqDW8Cp2Ke47aEW9UXD99bHQufvsBnIrhkDkh2X.jpg
A great end to the season as we beat our rivals, Liverpool 3-2. We finished 3rd in the league table and I reckon we can do even better next season.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/RHA4PULRvvDchYoQVbUvfGdSbH7VGtNiBvNjUMqv.jpg
An amazing match, it was very crazy and emotions ran very high throughout the match, but it's a very important one that will stay in history for a long time to come. Pogba missed a penalty within the first 20 minutes, courtesy of an Oblak save, who had been playing outstanding throughout the match stopping many key chances from our players. In the end, we were too good and Chong assisted an Eric Bailly winner.

MAY 2020
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Ztm41DJcJlzgRSFHdzm6w3AvS41kgcZVe35W7KEm.jpg
We had an amazing month as we defeated Fulham, Napoli and then beat Liverpool in the EPL and won the CL final against Atletico. A sign of top-quality things to come next season?

FEBRUARY 2020
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/L7NCLouFeCaTM25F5bpwbNlohYhLhqOPmemnYSdu.jpg
February was started off with a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace where we followed that up with a 3-0 win over Huddersfield and a 3-2 win over Chelsea. Unfortunately, we succumbed to a 5-2 defeat against Bayern in the first leg of the first knockout round in the UEFA Champions League. Since we rested a few important players, Bristol City managed to upset us 3-2 but with fully fit players, we smashed Chelsea 4-0 and beat Man City 1-0 thanks to a Pogba goal.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/xxzTeLnNn1HuMy7JMTfpEFFirUWrQCye342iGBLu.jpg
We trail Man City by 4 points as Jesse Lingard is leading the race for the Golden Boot.

YOUTH INTAKE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/xbmwTjosfvcYWxrN7z2WiGMvoapwlE4WX26Z11tx.jpg
We've had an okay youth intake, but not as good as last year's one since our only stand out player is English goalie, Dylan Baines.

100 MATCHES
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/pUeuoo3yKrlQ20Dx5xmqHCAO6sLp1fmEfmyLXSXN.jpg
We played our 100th match in management against Stoke City, which we ironically lost 4-1.

MARCH 2020
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/PcopVTBWuU29DWDgcU5C7jAT7TQ39sBCs9ib3xgX.jpg
March was an amazing month, for the first two games. We easily put away Arsenal 3-0 before smashing Bayern 8-2 in the second leg to advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Unfortunately, we rested lots of players and we lost to 2nd division side, Stoke City. After we came back from the international break, we drew 1-1 against Newcastle where Kaio Jorge scored a debut goal.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/qIsko5XxWGX9ho9qzXEAKCBMb1zRTacTJ80ISPGY.jpg
We still sit 3rd, but this time we're trailing Liverpool by 4 points.

December is a very long month and we started it off with a 3-3 draw with Brighton followed up by a 4-0 win over Leeds and a 3-0 win over RB Leipzig. A draw against West Ham followed before we smashed Spurs 5-1. Unfortunately, we were on the losing end of a game that ended 5-1 which was against Liverpool, our bitter rivals, but we followed it up with a 4-0 win over Fulham where our 16-year-old new Welsh signing, Ian Sprudd, scored a hat-trick on his Man Utd debut. We started off the month with an enormous 8-1 win over RB Leipzig followed by a 3-1 win over Bristol City and a 3-2 victory over Chelsea. We then continued our strong Champions League campaign with a 4-0 win over CSKA Moscow and ended the month with a 1-1 draw against Man City.

LEAGUE TABLE

Our Premier League campaign is continuing to go positive as Greenwood is still within a shout of winning the Golden Boot, although he's going to have to keep up this consistency for the rest of the season.

AUGUST 2019
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/BShCNcCAPCyhNJS3KmTkPYZpgvcf45vaLr48fdGk.jpg
August was quite a solid month for us in my opinion. We got a respectable 2-2 draw with Tottenham away from home while we easily put away Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Wolves.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Fe75jQ4RELBwwIlWz0imFnkhWUWCAiZyiLyciNF9.jpg
We currently sit 2nd in the table following our strong start to the season. Greenwood and Ward-Prowse are leadings in average rating while Ward-Prowse is top 3 in most assists.

SEPTEMBER 2019
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/PdxoxvWaydY566fDUdUMD4mMwVCc81kFLiWPz7H6.jpg
September wasn't a good month as we started off with a goalless draw against Everton. We picked ourselves up with a 2-0 win over Valencia and a 4-0 battering of Crystal Palace but we got knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Chelsea. We finished off the month with a 4-4 draw against Huddersfield where our defensive liabilities overshadowed our goalscoring abilities.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/A5Fm9fjUGgQHWI2jwmTPmhE8nWu6fdo5axrZdQjF.jpg
We still sit top 3 despite a disappointing month. Greenwood and De Gea are 3rd for most goals and most clean sheets, respectively.

SEASON REVIEW
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/uy709C2IDaF64BorjZH6f2lvI1AVUC0ASzDM37Un.jpg
An impressive season for us as we tasted success in both of the domestic cups, made the knockout stages in the Champions League and finished 3rd place in the EPL. There is still lots to improve on but not a bad first season in charge.

SQUAD DYNAMICS
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/k3gAozIHfTaqlMmYCsnSaBjlE7pbjuJU2MYI5WkS.jpg
Our squad dynamics is good as both the dressing room atmosphere and managerial support are solid. Our team leaders are Vertonghen, Lloris and Kane. Hopefully, we can mould Kane into our captain soon.

TRANSFERS IN
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/9mRhfJxcMCaS38azPiiUnxFTufzSJ1PBelP9jFEZ.jpg
Maximiliano Castillo - ST - Velez - £5M
A youthful striker with good attributes, ability and potential.
Jeremy Doku - LW - Anderlecht - £10M
This guy has impressive attributes for a 17-year-old and he has already played a senior match for Anderlecht.
Kostas Manolas - CB - Napoli - £32.5M
I couldn't resist the temptation to active his relatively cheap release. Hopefully, he can provide intense competition in defence and add his experience to the squad.
Peter Gulaci - GK - RB Leipzig - £17.5M
A home-grown goalkeeper who has got the ability to be the first choice at most Premier League clubs. He is only 29 and got a few more years on him as a goalkeeper and I believe it is shrewd business to add a home-grown player into our squad for £17.5M
Nabil Bentaleb - CM - Schalke 04 - £26M
A homegrown player for a great price who has many more years left on him. He will provide great depth for us.
Kevin Mbabu - RB - Young Boys - £7.5M
We needed a back-up for Dalot at right-back and Mbabu filt the slot perfectly. We got him for a great price and he is also home-grown.
James Ward-Prowse - CM - Southampton - £32.5M
An English player who is only 24 that has got good creativity and amazing ability at set-pieces who also filled our home-grown contingent. He proved himself in the Premier League last season as he scored 5 and racked up 10 assists.
Adrien Rabiot - CM - PSG - Free
Once I found that he was available on a free, it was a no-brainer to sign him. He's going to be valuable to us in midfield with his very well-rounded skills.
Enis Bardhi - CAM - Levante - £15M
World class free-kicks and also quality at corners, long shots and creating chances. 6 goals and 9 assists in La Liga last season for someone this cheap is good business and I am very excited to see how he develops.
Ian Sprudd - CM - Cardiff - £15M
A great high-quality young box to box who is 2nd division ability at the young age of 16. He is two-footed, has a high work-rate and his attributes are quality and well-balanced.
Kalidou Koulibaly - CB - Napoli - £75M
It was a massive transfer but I felt it was needed if we were to surpass Man City in the Premier League and also mount an even stronger challenge in the Champions League. Koulibaly is entering his peak at 28 years of age and his attributes are so amazing while he is still in amazing physical shape. Hopefully with him, conceding goals won't be a problem and less pressure will be put on our attackers to outscore our opponents.

TRANSFERS OUT
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/vClu1dLq4udCkjk0p4DdsOwSFQDZgIxCTMXOyG3T.jpg
Juan Mata - CAM - Inter - £20M
Mata was great at creating chances but his age was getting the better of him and didn't suit our style of play but I am sure he will impress in more of a slowed-up league such as the Serie A.
Ander Herrera - CM - PSG - £20M
He had lost his spot to McTominay and once he fell down the pecking order, he immediately started to become surplus to requirements.
Fred - CM - Lokomotiv Moscow - £15M
Didn't impress for us in the fairly limited amount of chances he had and although we made a heavy loss on this one, it was time for him to move on as he was surplus to requirements.
Chris Smalling - CB - Everton - £14.25M
Struggled for game time like Jones and was never going to fit in with our new high-quality influx of centre-backs.
Matteo Darmian - RB - Celtic - £7.5M
Started off the campaign surprisingly well but it eventually died down and he became dead wood that eventually got moved on.
Marcos Rojo - CB - Fiorentina - £5M
Great to get him off the wage bill, was an injury-prone player that would have never broken into the team, even during those rare occasions that he was fit.

Matt Olosunde - RB - Portland - Free
Brenner - ST - Eibar - Loan
Scott McTominay - CM - Porto - Loan
Due to lots of midfield players being signed, I decided it was best for McTominay to leave on loan as I also want to give chances to the young midfield trio of Docker, Lentall and Sprudd.

Matej Kovar - GK - Pribram - Loan
Dylan Levitt - CAM - Exeter - Loan
James Garner - CM - Derby - Loan
Andreas Pereira - CAM - Celta - Loan
Jeremy Doku - LW - Barnsley - Loan
Aliou Traore - CM - Le Mans - Loan
Callum Gribbin - CAM - Forest Green - Loan
Timothy Fosu-Mensah - RB - TSG Hoffenheim - Loan
Lincoln - ST - Getafe - Loan
Ramires - CAM - TSG Hoffenheim - Loan
Joel Pereira - GK - Barnsley - Loan
Demetri Mitchell - LB - Hull - Loan
Dean Henderson - GK - Levante - Loan
Nishan Burkart - ST - Exeter - Loan
Arnau Puigmal - CM - Exeter - Loan
Maximiliano Castillo - ST - Maccabi Tel-Aviv - Loan
James Wilson - ST - Portsmouth - Loan
Cameron Borthwick-Jackson - Loan

PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/sdxXdAttvaLLwNSvuZWT1a9AwHUwNeTrt8RVKTxs.jpg
We've had an interesting pre-season but most importantly, we improved towards the end significantly and I feel very confident about the upcoming campaign.

PRE-SEASON ODDS
Title Odds
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/NFkkrPyXXdlykdLayvUT3FwZDoOXVjU2XiCn3KrL.jpg
This is going to be a very competitive Premier League season and I would say we are thereabouts in terms of challenging with Liverpool and Man City for the title and while Chelsea are tipped to finish 4th, I wouldn't discount Spurs while Arsenal might even finish 4th but they are also facing pressure from Everton, West Ham, Leciester, Southampton and Wolves for the 6th spot.

Golden Boot
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/7uWJtChqauboC00vKI1ZFYqEdFFBU1Nxi5RqZAnB.jpg
Defending champion Aubameyang is the favourite to win but Rashford and Lukaku are the two most likely from our club while Aguero, Vardy and Martial are also in the mix.

Top Player Odds
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/xYOAofLe80qrqV7oiYMnrp7GnNmE9tKzUCW6FkaC.jpg
Salah and De Bruyne are the two players tipped to win this award and although Rashford is the most likely from our club, I believe most of our other players have potential to win it as well.

Top Young Player Odds
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/UVkmkZEjIv3Mq2xsX6OyjtqHCnhvhF58pgdCtpzw.jpg
Dele Alli is the favourite but Martial is in the mix and I expect him to win it.

APRIL 2019
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/7z459W3rsuN65EfXCxzoxBT9FMfXYHmlo3CKXWNk.jpg
We've had an amazing month as we advanced through to the Champions League semi-final thanks to Chong getting a hat-trick in both legs against Roma while we beat Huddersfield, Southampton, Liverpool and Wolves in the Premier League. Although we lost the Manchester Derby, we've managed to have a very promising and impressive month.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/UR571p3gT8JPnHn76EqOG8oQfAV9NZy3HSyhRI9n.jpg
We are confirmed to finish in 3rd place and we might even finish runner-up if we manage to leapfrog Liverpool. Chong is on 15 assists and Martial is on the highest average rating.

MANAGER OF THE MONTH
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/xJMn4q8W2coj3IEeaq7Pa4csw92uCedSFb3cfbsA.jpg
A very strong month resulted in us winning the Premier League Manager Of The Month despite playing Liverpool and Man City, who are making up the top 2 right now.

MAY 2019
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/MgkQiaK9uYJqehjWVzKM83naEsbfiSzJdM7Sz3PE.jpg
It's hard to describe this month because Liverpool knocked us out of the Champions League after beating us 5-0 on aggregate but we also beat Brighton 7-0 and Watford 3-1 in the Premier League.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/I3xIR40tAAqUA7lo9Z1LFGi8nso9vgWEUe4e8MNQ.jpg
The 2018/19 Premier League season has ended with us finishing 3rd with 84 points, 1 point behind Liverpool who finished runner-up. Man City set a high standard as they finished the campaign with 95 points and we are going to have to improve next season if we are to catch up to that level. The London trio of Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea were all fighting for the 4th Champions League spot and there was only a 3 point difference between all of them but it was Spurs who prevailed with 70 points while Arsenal and Chelsea finished with 69 and 68 points, respectively. Southampton's breakthrough showcased that they could potentially be a challenging team as they finished 5 points behind 4th and the point difference between them and West Ham, who finished 8th, is the exact same as the point difference between them and Liverpool, who finished runner-up. The 2015-16 Premier League champions, Leicester City, finished 9th while Crystal Palace rouned out the top 10. Brighton, Everton, Bournemouth, Wolves and Fulham made up 11-15th place while Newcastle and Huddersfield narrowly avoided relegation. The 3 teams that are dropping down to the Championship is an interesting bunch as no one would have predicted Watford to finish in last place while Burnley got relegated despite advancing to the Europa League knockout stage from a group that consisted of Rennes, Celtic and Villareal while Cardiff was most expected to get relegated.

FEBRUARY 2019
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/FWPessVaMoImlu1Ksc2Z85qreiv1Kh5ohKwXtbWy.jpg
Putting aside our 4-0 loss to Everton, we had a very strong month as we recovered to smash Leciester 5-0 while beating Spurs in the FA Cup, recording a draw vs Atletico while beating Chelsea and West Ham in the Premier League.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6Hx6jzk4Tz3L1usXziQiG1sDXyheiSmfgXWnz2KG.jpg
A good month has led to us rising to the top 4 while Lukaku and Martial lead the way for highest average rating while Chong and De Gea have hit double digits for assists and clean sheets, respectively.

YOUTH INTAKE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/jqIMWPRm7zRYHySM5mae6lgze9OTZAO3AopUxcvb.jpg
We have had an amazing youth intake this year at Manchester United with Brian Docker looking to be the standout player. He is a hard-working midfielder with great leadership attributes while we have a very technical playmaker in Justin Lentell and a tough-tackling defender in Sutton while Morton appears to be a good winger for our younger sides.

MARCH 2019
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/JKARxGmyy4onTdJE5UMjAaJ4zLug3tUtw52pDZEc.jpg
We've had a solid month here in which Mason Greenwood scored 4 goals in the 3 matches he started. Our Premier League campaign is continuing to go strong as we beat Bournemouth 4-0, Cardiff 5-0 and Fulham 1-0 while we advanced in the Champions League in absolutely crazy scenes as Pogba converted a 95th-minute penalty to let us win otherwise we would've lost on away goals. Unfortunately, we weren't able to play the strongest team thanks to our effort that we put in against Atletico Madrid and therefore Liverpool ended our FA Cup campaign in a 2-1 loss against our bitter rivals.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/XAKR22zqCN2xbDJKZBmD6GeHsO7LeEFL15LrBrXj.jpg
With 6 matches remaining, we are 3rd place ahead of Spurs by 5 points and Arsenal by 7 points so we should be safe in terms of making Champions League qualification. Chong is continuing to impress with 12 assists now while De Gea has racked up 14 clean sheets now.

DECEMBER 2018
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ER8cFG5mXYsbDUlO2gmepAWqROvh8zaMFdW4wLr1.jpg
We had a pretty rough and intense month which started off with two derby losses against Liverpool and Man City 2-1 and 2-3. We followed it up with a 1-0 win over Southampton while our strong Champions League campaign continued thanks to our 6-0 win over Red Bull Salzburg. Our rough schedule continued as we beat Wolves 1-0 but succumbed to a 3-2 loss against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup Quarter Final. Our month ended off with 3 EPL games in a week where we drew with Palace 0-0, beat Watford 3-1 and got upset by Brighton 3-1.

We had a pretty strong month but in particular, it was thanks to our 10-0 win over Newcastle in which Paul Pogba contributed to 5 of the goals. This is officially our biggest win in history and is a sign of the peak level our team can reach. Our goalscoring form continued in our 4-1 win over Lincoln and 3-3 draw against Burnley. We had two important games against the teams of London but although we lost against Spurs 1-0, we recovered to beat Arsenal in the Prem 4-0 while we made up for our draw against Burnley by knocking them out of the FA Cup.

OCTOBER 2018
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/NOxqwmiTSB98OLsuKqlcLHbEj2QFOhsYwCz7rSHm.jpg
We started off October with a clean sheet in our 2-0 win over Red Bull Salzburg. We had a big match against Chelsea away from home in which we lost by a goal. Next up, we beat Hoffenheim 2-0 and Bournemouth 2-1. Our clean sheet against Cardiff in our 3-0 win was a great way to sum up our defensive solidarity this month.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/RpGlYJdjR0vXgJXnIwRYnHCiOjbZhcxRwg9M0Rwr.jpg
We had a good month which mainly circulated about the rise of Tahith Chong who contributed important goals to our 3-1 wins over Cardiff and Huddersfield. In the Champions League, we beat Hoffenheim 4-0 but lost to PSG by a sole goal. Following the international break, we recorded a 4-0 win over Fulham where 3 different English players contributed to the 4 goals.

We started off our Premier League campaign with a 4-0 win over Crystal Palace where Rashford got a hat-trick. Our first away game is against Newcastle, whom we beat 3-1 thanks to Greenwood, Chong and Herrera. Unfortunately, we ended off the month with a 0-0 draw against Burnley.

Ben Chilwell - LB - Leicester - £70M
We were in need of another left-back, whether or not they were 1st choice or 2nd choice because we can not rely solely on Luke Shaw thanks to his injury problems. Chilwell is also only 21 years of age with huge potential and fits our home-grown status. Although we paid the £70M "ultimate" for this home-grown player, I hope we can justify his price tag as we deal with upcoming Brexit rule changes.

Enzo Millot - RW - AS Monaco - £800K
Enzo is a player who had not agreed to a professional contract at AS Monaco, so we decided to try and sign him with our limited budget and thankfully we could afford the measly compensation fee of £800K.

PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/3KWnSwGMdonOOlQhslLgZ0w3RbcIU4UaR9kLjNRS.jpg
We started off our pre-season with a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa but we finally found a formation to settle on as we smashed AS Monaco 6-2. We then recorded a 3-0 and 4-0 win over Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund, respectively. This was a great chance for our young players to show their worth which is exactly what the trio of Mason Greenwood, Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong were doing. We followed up our great form with a 13-0 win but our winning streak ended following a 1-1 draw with Bayern. We made up for it with a 2-0 and 1-0 win over Spurs and Juve, respectively. Now that we were in August, we had two very tough friendlies and we have to make the most of them, which is exactly what we did as Barca were beaten 7-1 and we recorded a good enough 1-0 win over Real Madrid.

PRE-SEASON ODDS
Title Odds

Golden Boot Odds
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/tabfvjRfC8CNfnWlNFqgQ78xMmIElFEZWjHkzCHB.jpg
Salah, Kane and Aguero are the 3 main favourites while Rashford is tipped to be our best chance of winning the award.

Top Player Odds

Salah is once again in the mix for an award as he is tipped to be the Top Player. Paul Pogba is understandably predicted to be our best chance of winning the award.

Top Young Player Odds

Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva are the two main favourites while Anthony Martial is predicted to be our best chance of winning the award and if I am being honest, I believe Anthony Martial is going to impress this season in our fluid attack.

Welcome to my Man Utd save, where hopefully we can reach spectacular heights while engraving home-grown and youth academy policies into our club again. Hopefully, soon enough, we can rebuild the club and reach the heights of becoming the champions of England, Europe and the World once again. We're not going to splash out on short-term fixes and instead put faith in our young academy stars while also adding in a few home-grown players. Sometimes we may sign a marquee signing or two, but only for the right price otherwise, we will be making mainly smarter signings as well as being on the lookout for any high potential wonderkids.

NEW CONTRACT

Thankfully we have secured a new contract which runs for 3 more years until 2022.

APRIL 2019
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/bfI552wrGTAUy2qacOSdP2BtGvfOWVeUeZexCbiM.jpg
We had a fairly pleasing month following our disappointing 0-0 draw with Watford as we beat Man City 2-0, and recorded 3-1 and 3-2 victories over Huddersfield and West Ham, respectively. Our home match against Liverpool was probably our best of the season thanks to a Harry Kane double which got us the 4-1 win. Unfortunately, fatigue may have been an issue as we were unable to complete the comeback against Chelsea in our 4-3 loss but we made up for it with a 1-0 win over Leicester.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/bUVpqzjCOo1JgywsrTRe5defp5JBFxvo3lU411tO.jpg
Thanks to Son's increased game time following his injury during the Asian Cup, he officially has the highest average rating in the league and thankfully that was enough for us to break into the top 4.

FINAL DAY
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/J3QgaAi5GeRQ4CxV77pxkYFDp99i9d9h6SZ0L8yO.jpg
We somehow marched our way to 3rd spot despite being in a battle for top 7 at a stage of the season. I also believe I have finally figured out a consistent tactic that works against all statures of teams, as shown by our 3-0 win over Burnley.

MAY 2019
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/dzqzxVfsLgFvURiLPOVET04hwtqP1oe3qBQs4igE.jpg
We've shown to have a very good month and avoided a potential obstacle as were were 0-0 during the 82nd minute but 3 more goals in the next 10 minutes was enough to beat the team we would later go on to beat during the FA Cup final. Two 3-0 wins to end the league season makes me very hopeful that we will win the league title next season.

FA CUP TRIUMPH
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/guFe1BRhhtV1HR7R4o3LJxq82wC9Lp44ZLHVD4vu.jpg

We appear to have a great month filled with lots of goals. We beat Arsenal 3-0 and follow it up with a 2-0 win over Sheffield United. Our worst performance of the month is our 2-2 draw against a jubilant Crystal Palace and we continue our FA Cup campaign with a 1-0 win over Aston Villa. Although Harry Kane's goal isn't enough to salvage a draw against Real Madrid, we win our first piece of silverware under Tottenham with a 3-2 win over Arsenal in extra time. We end off our month with an important 3 points against Brighton.

LEAGUE TABLE

MARCH 2019
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Dd5jKBRYrGudyI8jgoxugEH4PZnjdwLVeuJkXX9z.jpg
We start off the month of March positively recording a 3-2 win over Everton before beating Man City 2-1 thanks to a Harry Kane 93rd minute winner. We then travel to Madrid and put up a good fight, but defensively it just wasn't enough as we crashed out thanks to our 4-2 loss. We seem to lose a bit of our form as the month is ended off with a concerning 1-0 win over Blackburn and a 0-0 draw against relegation candidates, Fulham.

LEAGUE TABLE

Nothing too major except for the fact that Robbie Scullion looks like a very high potential player and I look forward to awarding him a few games for the rest of the season. He is an advanced playmaker who could potentially replace Dele Alli's role there one day. The 16 year-old Englishman can also operate as a deep-lying playmaker and could get more matches at an earlier age since Eriksen is a few years older than Alli and his natural fitness is not as high as Dele's.

DECEMBER 2018
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/VuC7MqUOv45x1P6T6aJqcu6lMctuR7hNvKKgI0iJ.jpg
The toughest and most-packed month in the year is December as our team faces 7 Premier League matches as well as continental and domestic cup competition. We start this month off with a 2-0 win over Huddersfield follow by an abysmal 2-1 and 4-1 loss to West Ham and Liverpool, respectively. Following those poor performances, we hit a good patch with a 2-1 win over Schalke followed by a 3-1 win over Leicester. We win on penalties against Burnley in the Carabao Cup and then proceed to draw with Cardiff and then beat Burnley 4-0. The last match against Wolves where we lost 1-0 sums up our performances in November and December.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/wJE7wuE52LwYJeNv7qO8ZpSG5coDQHrDShMdjvjM.jpg
Our league position of 7th is a reflection of our performances in the league. There are a few positives to take from this as Son is 3rd in the Golden Boot race as he has registered 10 goals in the league this season which in turn has got him 3 player of the match awards. Hugo Lloris is still showing fine form in the Golden Glove race with his 9 clean sheets to date.

JANUARY 2019
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/OKhNsPPpjlBOkzUhCcGZEyIKSg7OQdFypKlRWXzk.jpg
January is also a very packed month and although we were undefeated, we registered lots of draws as it took us until the last game of the month to get more than 1 goal in a match. We registered 3 1-1 draws against Newcastle, Leicester and Man Utd. We continue our Carabao campaign by beating Leicester on penalties and advancing to the final without the need for a goal over the first two legs. Our FA Cup campaign is still steady with a few kind draws but we would be lucky to even stay in this division with only a 1-0 win over Preston and a 0-0 draw against Sheffield. Sancho and Origi finish off Bournemouth in our final match of the month.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/VezlFKpl3k3PcSNwC9uMYKOQFj24nCQI7UpStEXd.jpg
Our league position has improved as we now sit 6th but unfortunately, there are only 14 games to close the 5 point gap between Man City, who are currently 4th. Unfortunately, due to our performances, Son and Lloris have dropped out of the top 3 for the Golden Boot and Golden Glove race, respectively.

OCTOBER 2018
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6dHkUfXzcw5C9fH1YGYskQ3I3kBHXjBr2JC8xm5T.jpg
We start off the month with a tight but important 3-2 victory over Schalke only to fall to Chelsea 3-1 a few days later. A 2-0 win over Brighton prepares us for a 1-1 draw against Juventus. We end off the month with two consecutive 2-0 away wins where we get 3 points and advance to the 5th round of the EFL Cup. I would say it is a good month but there is always room for improvement as we had a struggle against the big teams.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TfzRAodhDtFCSXwvk3zESTZRcjY7HY6GEHJ0wzOD.jpg

Honestly, the month went alright but in terms of performances, we were disappointing. Getting 3 goals in our draw against Man City is by far our best result of the month as we succumbed to a 5-1 loss to Juventus and a goalless draw against Watford before fighting for 2 wins that should've been easier.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TfvFhlB58FdA5XQ7K04ZkQrjGc4T8f6uLNsfAKIL.jpg
A disastrous start to my reign as Tottenham manager as we only score 1 goal throughout 3 games. We started off badly with a 0-0 draw against Cardiff followed by a 3-1 loss against Newcastle away from home which might be the most impressive performance finished off with a 3-0 loss to Manchester United at home. It became clear the tactic I was using was not matching the true ability of our players and there was some tinkering to do.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TUdH739juVIphm052OhhUsgpk7IKQk9YyYFJxX4T.jpg

We face Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup which looks like a fairly straight forward task. Although I would've preferred playing teams in the other divisions to give our youngsters a chance, we at least get to test the depth of our squad.

SEPTEMBER 2018
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/zxkLZhNU4YoTi0UFJFnHTn21dFypW9OUsRygg6yR.jpg
We start off the month very strongly with a 4-2 win against Southampton followed by a clean sheet against Bournemouth. We then travel to Galatasaray for our first Champions League Group Stage match and unfortunately we fell to a 2-2 draw. We travel back to England in a tight match against Arsenal where Son leads us to a 3-2 victory. We finish off the month with 2 matches against Crysal Palace in the Carabao Cup and Premier League. They were both away matches and we got a 1-0 and 2-0 win. One thing I can conclude from this month is that Son is the real deal and I nearly considered selling him off to fund the purchase of Cengiz Under who was going to be our right winger since Jadon Sancho was going to become our left winger. Fortunately, since the international break, he has been firing on all cylinders and his goal to match ratio is 1 goal per game which is a very impressive stat. I am very proud of our successful tinkering this month and look forward to the successful months ahead of us.

MANAGER OF THE MONTH
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/HJXFjfDhqzFLpc7KpftG6WRk52d81MUCFDmilHEA.jpg
We've won the manager of the month award in the month right after we got the worst start to the league season for Tottenham and got a team in the last spot after finishing 3rd place last season. Our ride so far has undoubtedly been rocky but I believe we have shown the foundations to succeed and we finally beat our first top-six team with a very tight 3-2 win over Arsenal which ended with an 89th-minute winner by Son.

LEAGUE TABLE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/v3sc3WwyLuTga5upGFZdBnGeVE5SE2NQ7nZBCn6f.jpg
We've been so impressive that we have gone from 20th spot to 4th spot, although we do have a game in hand. Son has the highest average rating in the league and is tied top goalscorer alongside his team-mate Harry Kane.

TRANSFERS IN
Jadon Sancho - LW - Borussia Dortmund - £40M
We definitely needed to get another winger in and Jadon Sancho has the ability to play on either side of the wings therefore Son could also play with him but it also a better alternative to Moura on the right wing. He fits the homegrown bill and has lots of potential so it was a no-brainer to take him back here.

Divock Origi - ST - Liverpool - Loan
Following the sale of the ageing striker Fernando Llorente, we were in need of a back up striker for Harry Kane as we didn't want to rely on our 16 year old academy player who will be getting a fair few chances this term.

Matthijs de Ligt - CB - Tottenham - £15M (25M)
He's going to be a wonderful back-up partner with Davinson Sanchez who will replace the first choice-partnership of Alderweirald and Vertonghen in a few years. He is an exquisite acquisition, especially for that price.

TRANSFERS OUT
Michel Vorm - GK - Al-Ahli - £2.7M
Jonathan De Bie - GK - Billericay Town - Loan
Fernando Llorente - ST - Newcastle United - £1M
In a 1 striker formation with Harry Kane, he was never going to get the opportunity, especially after the signing of Divock Origi on loan. We also have an injured Vincent Janssen and maturing 16 year old academy player Troy Parrott both ready to fight for a chance in the team.

Moussa Sissoko - CM - AS Monaco - £12M
He never really suited the type of player I was looking for and it was good to get him off the wage bill and help sanction the signing of homegrown talent Jadon Sancho.

Kieran Trippier - RB - Man Utd - £27M
I would have rather sold off Aurier as he is not homegrown but unfortunately we could not entertain any offers for him so I decided to accept Man Utd's offer for Trippier. Since we had a very slim budget, the profit from the sale has gone towards the purchase of attacking homegrown talent Jadon Sancho. Thankfully we did not need to sign another right back as we had a very capable back up in Englishman Kyle Walker-Peters.

PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/4yvkxW4vRwH5aVq1fCOVCFSsmyqd622GfClejb49.jpg
We've had a mixed pre-season but it was very good to get lots of experience against top teams and that will prepare us for our Champions League campaign. One player who stood out during pre-season was Lucas Moura and I intend to give him a good chance to impress me this term and hopefully he can put pressure on Son and Sancho's winger spots.

PRE-SEASON ODDS
Title Odds
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/665ogLOlK6qp6YgzMcrxgm7p1QFMAgSfs8Vpy2rR.jpg
The bookies have predicted a 4th spot finish in the EPL this season. Obviously if we want to crack top 2, we will have to maintain a strong level consistently throughout the season but I think we will put up a good fight against Chelsea for the 3rd spot. Let's not also forget that Man Utd have always been one of the big clubs and could also have a chance at cracking the top 4.

Golden Boot Odds
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/LH77vW39XeppnsdxN4JqINVw7OBGwyUjj0hQMzUE.jpg
Following a breakout season at Liverpool, Salah has been made the favourites to defend his Golden Boot. Harry Kane is obviously our best chance of winning the award and if the team as a whole can have a good season, Harry Kane could be looking at more than the Golden Boot and hopefully go on to win the Top Player Award.

Top Player Odds
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/9InybPE22xAucdeC3Xob5KFwJTsUrIoPtzRGhoZr.jpg
There are plenty of players tipped to win the Top Player Award but our two best shots at winning the award are hitman Harry Kane and playmaker Christian Eriksen who I believe will have a standout season.

Top Young Player Odds
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Aq6bXAP7OzvUJJyrTG133hAvegaNnStGBeMDpUGt.jpg
Leroy Sane is tipped to win the Young Player Award as well as teammates Raheem Stirling and Bernardo Silva. Dele Alli is also in the mix and I can confirm that he is going to be playing in an advanced role this season.

Welcome to my Spurs save where I will attempt to win them silverware again and hopefully reach new heights such as winning the Champions League for the first time as well as winning the English Premier League for the first time since 1961. I also would like to continue to develop lots of youngsters and integrate lots of homegrown players into my squad.

PROFILE UPDATE
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/WugLjWaPtdL8Sfcd09skNLhF2I9pM6lw5lEcEjpi.jpg
Following our resignation, here is an update on our profile, history and managerial attributes. We've only attained one coaching badge, the National C License, but we already have a 1 1/2* reputation. Following a 2 and half year stint at Borneo FC and the South Africa U-23s, we've become fluent in Bahasa Indonesian which will be useful for our next job.

NEW TEAM
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/0WmjGa0BRbfIIwZeIgw2UPyXYl0S7iSwr7ufZIwc.jpg
Ever since I heard that there is potentially a lot of jobs opening up at the end of the season in Malaysia due to the fact that many of the managers' contracts were expiring, I was quick to pounce on which team I should join. Johor DT was definitely a team I was looking at since Selangor started to win the league and I thought it would be nice to try and get them back to winning ways until the club decided to extend their manager's contract. This is when I also started looking at other teams and there was another that did pretty well, but Selangor were the defending champions and looked like it would be better for my career. During the interviews, there was also a noticeable difference between Selangor and the other team's budgets as Selangor's transfer budget was nearly a million pounds which gave me the chance to make some transfers for the team as we could not let Johor DT win that title again.

END OF SEASON AWARDS
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/au0OJaQxZmRM8OufQYs95rd5vy8VG0JVotqMohJU.jpg
The Fans' Player Of The Season award was a very tough battle between two of our best strikers, Denilson and Gilang Alfarizi. Alfarizi took a whopping 47% of the fans' vote while let's not forget that Denilson got a very high amount too as he got 37% of their vote. These two wonderful players took out 84% of the fans' votes combined while hot prospect Wayan Hidayat came 3rd with 10% of the vote going to him. There is some consolation for Wayan as he won the "Goal Of The Season" with his strike against Semen Padang, the league runner-up. There was also consolation for Denilson who came runner-up in the tightly fought Fans' Player Of The Season as he took out the Signing Of The Season award. Following nearly more than half of the fans' votes in the Fans' Player Of The Season, Alfarizi who also won the Liga 1 Young Player Of The Season as well as finishing runner-up in both the Liga 1 Golden Boot and the Liga 1 Player Of The Season took out the Young Player Of The Season Award.

SEASON REVIEW
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/0iFR2Jaw0Vpe3VwGSrBe1gfE5FyQ0oVbYZotbKqJ.jpg
It was a great season for us as we won the Piala Super Cup and Liga 1 titles as well as nearly making the AFC Champions League knockout stage and beating the eventual finalist, Jeonbuk Hyundai who also won the top Korean division.

SQUAD DYNAMICS
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/pYGJ9n0wrJ4yjiyuTKOL0UzDV2nj8D51YbbwmAWL.jpg
Here are the squad dynamics as it looks very well balanced as there isn't too many leaders but not too little.

AFC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE REVIEW
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/7HQAzoGqUv59wghgih3GzZNDLYY5Ku7KbI6hu0ea.jpg
I'm very proud with our performance in the AFC Champions League as we beat the eventual finalist.

LIGA 1 GOLDEN BOOT
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/qQaVssIrAptiFwikdbRKeEltH8io4xRrn7a247dx.jpg
Denilson takes home the Golden Boot after edging strike partner Alfarizi by 1 goal.

LIGA 1 TOP PLAYER
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/G8ovypWUViyCmYoENlppYU0Qx85EOVk67Jfe9Ipl.jpg
Denilson once again edges out his teammate Alfarizi despite having a lower average rating and less assists in more games played.

LIGA 1 MANAGER OF THE YEAR
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/onyHP3FQCoBsxkZhn7d1xkAUIb913YthUWjKEqMC.jpg
We came 2nd in the manager of the year award which is an improvement from our 3rd position that we attained last season.

LIGA 1 TOP YOUNG PLAYER
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/B3ILZCOJI081ikl0tQ0OjPK3CMcEnXgMkjfDx0Sb.jpg
Gilang Alfarizi expectedly took out the top young player award as he came millimetres off beating his own teammate in the top player award.

CONTRACT ULTIMATUM
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/aqqadE2LINsdZ201DE9uJEIKLm8FyJ2BV2qqDvym.jpg
Due to the decision, we made about resigning at the end of the season, the board have tried to counter that decision by proposing talks.

CONTRACT DECISION
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/kbId7JBdK1oZfqWUa2wxrEslER2h6lbxFSi7higA.jpg
As much as I love the time I've had at Borneo FC, I felt it was time to step down if we were going to progress anywhere in our career. We definitely built a reptuation and showed our natural managerial quality, but with our finances in a debt of over 1 million and the board consistently unwilling to fund a coaching course for me, I felt it's time to go somewhere else in Asia where we can get a new coaching license. The reputation we've gained at my time at Borneo FC would've been an improvement on the team that I took over in 2018 but without a coaching badge this team is as good as any other team that would want me. Although we may not be making a big step up in the managerial ladder, I do believe this could be a good stepping stone to a job hopefully at one of Matt's boyhood club, Perth Glory in the A-League soon. After that we would move on to the Asian giants, maybe have a stint in South Africa and move on to South America and North America before battling it out in Europe's biggest leagues.

WHO WON THE TITLE?!
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/W0rDZqjUJKxDi6BJuG6Z3p1MTM8VAfRxn6v06FB8.jpg
WE WON! Unbelievable scenes as an 88th minute goal by Madura United gave us the chance to overtake Semen and we did so by battling through a 2-1 win where a comeback was possibly lingering after a goal from Mojokerto Putra in stoppage time, but we held out for the rest of the match and we take home the league title. It was a 1 point difference again this year as we still won against the late surging Semen Padang despite having a weaker goal difference. This year's league season was something to cherish for Indonesian fans and the fans of the other teams will be disappointed they couldn't take advantage of this open title race.
