I have taken charge of my local EFL League Two football club, Morecambe FC (I live nearby and I regularly attend home matches). In this first episode I take a quick look at the squad and go through our pre-season campaign.

We won the league, but didn't play our rivals or win any awards (we did have 5 players in team of the year though). 50 points.

I don't get why the league randomly picks teams to finish 2nd or 3rd if they're on the same number of points, without looking at goal difference or head to head.

I thought this was an easier challenge than Sunderland; despite the amateur status I didn't lose many players or staff. I only made a couple of signing for midfield and defence, and releasing one of my keepers early on.

I posted links to my screenshots and my save file earlier in this thread, but for some reason I didn't get added to the leaderboard?

Well, that was tough. Finished 8th in the end.
Points: 10 for finishing 8th, 5 for losing in the FA cup 4th round replay to Barnsley. We didn't beat any rivals, sadly, so I make that 15 points.
EDIT: Lewis Grabban was "Grabban" the goals for me, ending up on 22 and winning the golden boot. That's another 5 points, so in total I got 20 points.

Observations:
With regards to GKs, Ruiter is a decent distributor, but not a great shot stopper. Steele is absolutely awful; I only used him in the cup and he was shockingly bad.
Lewis Grabban was on fine form, ending up on 22 goals and winning the golden boot.
I only signed one player: Mariappa on loan from Watford after Koné became unsettled, so I sold him.
The finances are very poor indeed, and I was therefore reluctant to bring in players.
