Now, the question is: can one create 16 further colors options for 20 levels of attributes, not just these four?

Oh, i didnt saw that the question was for fm18. i am sorry. You can edit the 4 colour attribute stats in steps and with colours. Preference, search for "skin" and then Skin Colour. I think thats thw was also on english. Here is a screenshot.

You can go in preference and search for "attributes" and then edit like you want
