@crazyanimals  It really shouldn't be taking you so long. I've tried it on a couple of different connections and computers before uploading and it was fine.

Can you provide a screenshot of the folders please and ensure the file path is visible?

Have you downloaded all four parts mate? If you have then make sure when your extracting the files that they are all selected.

They need to be extracted together to create the single file.

Thanks mate. Yes I believe its dark enough for sure. You will obviously have times when some text will not be 100% as you can only achieve that with a dark and possibly plain background.

Note: It's important to copy the content only from each folder and paste into the corresponding folders in the megapack. 

Do not copy and paste the actual folders.

Installation

Start by downloading all four Steel Backgrounds Megapack parts and place in the below folder. 

You MUST download all four parts as they only work as a collection.

C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\graphics

Once you've done this you will need to select all four parts at once and extract them using your chosen application. I have tested this on both Mac using Keka and Windows using Winrar.

This will create a single file named Steel Backgrounds Megapack.

Then simply reload your skin and enjoy using in the Football Manager 2021.

@Qvordrup Thanks mate. I’ve tried this one and for some reason the club backgrounds don’t work as the code is for teams rather then clubs.

I was able to do a workaround using Word where I replaced all ‘team’ words with ‘club’.

@Chunky677  Its great to hear that mate. I think the darker backgrounds work best on FM too.

As the new kits are released I will release more packs.

@Chunky677 I would prefer not to do the shirt backs as I wouldn't have the time and the template doesn't really suit as the name is too high and you wouldn't see the full number either.

Hi All

Does anyone know of an XML Creator which supports Backgrounds and preferably for Mac but Windows would do.

FM XML unfortunately doesn't work for backgrounds on MAC despite having the option, while the option is not available it seems on windows.

I would open the megapack folder and the update 1 folder in separate windows and go to Club-Normal-@2 of both.

Copy the contents (logos and config file) in the @2 folder of Update 1-Club-Normal-@2 folder and paste it to the Megapack-Club-Normal-@2 folder.

When prompted replace any existing files.

Repeat this for Competitions, Nations etc.

Then repeat this for all updates and in numerical order i.e. Update 1, 2, 3, 4.

You will need to copy and paste the contents only of the @2 size logos from each folder into the corresponding folder in the megapac.

This will have to be done for each update.

If not I’ll check this out when I’m back at my computer tomorrow evening.

have you moved over the @2 size folders?

Are the config files in the normal and small folders of the competitions folder?
