I am using the same config files as well and its working for me, maybe you can try editing yours or edit the png's names and see if it works? Or did you use any mods that changes the team's id?
The location should be the same as FM24, as long as there aren't any other PNG files with the same name, it should work. Have you removed the config file from your previous download?
