Welcome everyone to my FM23 Beta save, where I join the dark side. Otherwise known as Newcastle United. Now, while I would much prefer to see just how badly I could destroy the club before being sacked that wouldn't be a very fun save so here I am, a lifelong Sunderland fan trying to do well with Newcastle.

Sir Alex Ferguson took over Manchester United on November 6th 1986 with them sitting 2nd bottom in Division 1 and within 12 seasons led them to 4 league titles, 4 FA Cup wins, 1 League Cup, 1 Cup Winners Cup (now the Europa League) and finally in the 1998/1999 season a league, FA Cup and Champions League treble. Today, I start my journey in trying to emulate one of the greatest managers of all time in Sir Alex Ferguson.

Welcome everyone to my FM23 Zero to Hero Challenge, where I start my career with just slightly more experience than I have in real life as while in real life I have my FA Level 1 (yes I really do), I was never a Sunday league Footballer. This marks the start of our journey from the very bottom of the footballing mountain, aiming to reach the top and become Number 1 on the Hall of Fame. Can we do it? Yes. How long will it take? Probably longer than expected. How many times will I get sacked? More than I should
