Do I require the enhanced FM data update in order to access the new leagues update? (Sorry if this is a silly question) - unable to access on the free version.

Thank you for taking the time to do this, do you know yourself roughly how long until we would likely see the first interim update? I am not familiar with the number of leagues left for promotion but was not sure if the CL final would have effect on that...
