Hi @mons , I don't know if the file does anything beside this, but Japan.dbc prevents January real life transfers to happen in game. If it does nothing else besides blocking transfers it can be deleted.
Missing player faces on national teams its intentional, licensing related.
J League 2026/2027 will only start in August, so it will be a Football Manager 27 season.
