Narrow victory but all important for momentum.
What we got to achieve this season.
Anyone know anything about the Liga Sul-Minas-Rio competition?
Big result against the reigning champions!
Fabinho loves a goal!
Beasting ... should have been more.
Transfers ... up next are the opening league fixtures.
This lad has potential .... we can sign him for £1.5m at the end of the loan if we want.
Some talent here, been with Roma and all. On a free and versatile.
Would love to get him when fit, tried to, but vetoed by the board.
Offered to us on loan by Pato. Will take him.
Recommended by the DoF ... acted upon it, cost less than 80k.
Another player I have used, this time in this year's FM. Know what he can do. He's agreed a pre-contract, re-sale value at least.

Competition for number one, on loan.
Strong centre half with European experience, have played with him in previous FM's. Will be a valuable experience at the back.
Been round the block for a 24 year old, versatile, European experience, what's not to like?
Back on loan for a second season. I really like this guy.
Left back is a bit of a problem, Júnior César is ageing. This guy could be a decent free agent signing.
On loan, provides valuable cover.
Excited by this, Wellington spent time with Arsenal and we have taken him for £525k. Will be handy in this league.
To be clear ... these deals are not in order thanks to Imgur messing around ...
Guy has good experience and is the right age for the squad, in on loan. A good deal all round.
The lay of the land, bit of momentum can do wonders for the side. The fear is, we are not that far off from the relegation zone ... closer to that than the top.
Be rude not to sign off with a win and a goalkeeper winning man of the match.
Would love a Continental Cup run! First leg was ours.
Held to a point by a side that are struggling in the league. Hoping if we can generate some cash, we can go after Lincoln from them.
You win some, you lose some. Gained a point.
Thoroughly deserved this win. Played them off the park.
All the possession but no goals.
Same story and same result. 3 crucial points.
On a role and living the dream.
Beat the current league leaders, took our chances and defended for our lives.

Statement of intent. Monster win and a clean sheet.
Red card almost cost us, we did well. Big side and a point. Will take it.
No complaints here, getting points and not losing is what we are going to have to do. Scrap for everything.
Equal in possession but it's all about the chances you take. Very happy to snatch this win and hopefully it is the start of a run for us.
Got this man Caio in on loan, we are well over our wage budget, so a Brazilian plying his trade for one of Europe's biggest clubs and on a free made sense.
Some good results there Itchy, well done.

Just found this ... I am now educated: http://www.brazilfooty.com/brazilian-football-explained/ ... well I hope I am ...
How things stand in this regional competition. Great start. Test will come when the full league starts.
A decent game, Cesar is a monster for a 33 year old left back.
Mancini rolling back the years.
The weaker sides will get a paddling.
On a hiding to nothing!
Beat the current champions of the this competition. Suffered a red card and had to hold out. Really should have won the game, dominated everything.
Angry ... drew in the final second of the game when he conceded a needless penalty. Never one but had to suck it up. Keeper saved the penalty but we were to slow to clear the loose ball.
I see what Fola said about Moreno ... he is quality for a 37 year old.
First game and getting used to the side managed a scrappy 1-0 win. Squad has some injuries, so lots of youngsters getting a run.
Club expectations for the season, board thinks we are going down in the Serie A! I presume the Campeonato Catarinense is a regional league?
Cracking start there @Fola , going to be a tough but enjoyable adventure.
Hmmm .... not officially done at that time?
