Hello everyone!
This year I’m trying something a bit different: a multi-club parallel save with four Croatian teams:
🔹 Dinamo Zagreb
⚪ Hajduk Split
⚪ Rijeka
⚪ Osijek
The goal?
To build the BALKAN ACADEMY – a long-term player development project focused on the Balkan region.
It’s a mix of “academy save” and regen development – not 100% youth-only, but with strong restrictions on transfers.
🌍 Defining the “Balkan”
In this save, “Balkan” includes:
Primary focus: Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo
Secondary (optional): Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey
🧠 Rules & Structure
📌 Squad
Each position must have 3 players (starter, backup, U21)
Players 30+ years old: considered for sale
Each season, minimum 1 U18 player must start regularly
📌 Staff
All staff over 50 are released
New staff must be ex-players from Balkan clubs or nations, regardless of attributes
Head of Youth Development can be non-Balkan – we want top-tier regens
📌 Transfers
No transfers between my clubs
Per season transfer limit:
➤ Max. 3–5 new players
➤ Max. 1 foreigner (non-Balkan)
➤ Max. 2 loan signings
Players are sold if a realistic offer arrives (e.g., player worth €7M – offer €10–12M = accept)
📌 Board & Training
Board can be asked for improvements only twice per year (start of season and January)
Staff can be sent on coaching courses freely
Individual training plans rotated every 2 months
🏆 Objectives
Long-term development of Balkan talents
See which club produces the best regens
Manager can only take national teams from the Balkan region (senior/U21/U19)
The ultimate goal: create the next Modrić, Iličić, Džeko... from our own academy
