My ultimate goal is to win the Champions League with Celtic, along the way improving the diminished reputation of Scottish Football. A key focus will be player development, in hope that it will allow me to build a squad good enough to compete at the highest level without breaking the bank.
In terms of transfer targets, I'll look towards promising youngsters and rough cut gems who have yet to show their full potential. Passing and technique are important factors in transfer targets as its at the core of my tactics, less so for the centre backs. Mental attributes such as determination, off the ball and teamwork will also be very important.
My goal is to bring the style of Barcelona to Glasgow. A style based on getting the ball in the back of the net through possession, short passing and movement off the ball. The team should also be able to operate quickly and efficiently on the counter.

We had an excellent first season, winning the first domestic treble in a decade. This included a successful Champions League campaign topping our group that we were 4th seed consisting of; Milan, PSG and Valencia, before reaching the Quarter Final and losing to Barcelona by a single goal. The players settled in well to the new style of play especially Welsh playmaker Joe Ledley who thrived in the 'Xavi role'.

Thanks mate!

Our season was a reality check from last season. A huge improvement in the SPL and only 6 points of the targeted 100, but that was mulled by a disappointing League Cup run reaching just the 3rd round. Our Champions League group proved too large a stumbling block, despite it being vastly easier than the season before, as Shakhtar and Valencia claim the Champions League spots and we were destined for the Europa League. We recovered from a 3 goal deficit to reach the last 16 of the Europa League, against Panathinaikos only to go out on away goals to Inter Milan.

Another domestic treble and on to four-in-a-row SPL titles. We ere again unable to live up to the Champions League heroics of the 2012/13 season and crashed out in the last 16 after finishing second to Bayern Munich in the group stages. A drop in form after the title was wrapped up denied us the 100 point mark. All of the new signings settled in well and improved the squad. The SPL moved up to 25th in the European competition rankings and us to 31st.

Another treble but no further process in the Champions League. A low with points due to a bad start meaning we failed to his the top spot until January. We finished 2nd in a tough Champions League group of Juventus, Schalke and Toulouse. We also set a new record of 52 goals in a tournament. The SPL moved up to 18th in the European rankings meaning we can attract better players and we reached 24th.

My New Star:
An incredible first season for the youngster who has potential to go all the way.

I found this press conference rather amusing after I wrapped up my 4th season. I am attracting the interest of several English clubs but will likely turn them down.

I really hope to get this job and lead Scotland to glory as the squad has great potential with players like James McArthur and Steven Fletcher.
SR67
Cheers mate, I'd never seen it before!

I had to streamline the squad. The wage bill was over £500k per week and we had too many unhappy players. Firstly I looked at expiring contracts and both Tom Cairney and Jake Livermore wanted over £35k so they were first on my list and made me a tidy profit of £7 million. The others were just fringe players and I drastically reduced the wage bill and over £45 million in the bank.
New Budgets
Transfer: £32 million
Wage: £511k (currently spending £370k)
SR67
They chose Peter Houston who got sacked form Brighton after they finished 18th in the Championship.

Guidetti didn't get the chance to shine an Manchester City and I snapped him up for free. He looks like a natural goalscorer; good finishing, good composure and hardworking. His wages are subsidized by the sale of Leon de Kogel for a loss of £1.4 million
Left back was the only position I was desperate for, and being out priced by Southampton by Luke Shaw I found a very cheap replacement. A product of the Ajax youth academy, with a decent amount of game time can be a star.
SR67
Possibly my final permanent transfer, I've brought back Marcus Anderek to offer extra options in midfield. He was a costly £7 million but his wages are fairly low to balance it out.
I finally got my man, on loan with an option to buy. I'll look to keep him on permanently before the end of the season at £8 million.
We had a decent pre season, only loosing to Premiership side Norwich. We sailed through a Champions League qualifier and face Hapoel Tel Aviv in the next round.

A simple enough draw but Liverpool should provide a challenge along with Shakhtar, I'd say about 10 points will be enough to guarantee progression.
A great start to the season on both the home and European front. We've picked up some big wins, in which Leonardo Mancuso stole the show. The Argentinean wonderkid has banged in an incredible 13 goals in the past 6 matches. If he keeps it up he's in with a chance of the Golden Boot.
SR67
So this is how the first team looks after transfers. Although some real talent left during the window I brought in a few gems, and streamlined the squad and cut down the wage bill by over £100k. The only player worth mentioning who's contract is expiring is Charlie Mulgrew but at 30 I'm going to hold out and see if he'll accept a lower wage at the end of the season.
SR67
We've won all but 3 SPL matches so far, a disappointing loss at Ibrox seen us drop our first points of the season. The highlight of the campaign has probably been the 6-2 win over Hibs, where Leonardo Mancuso got a hat-trick. All out points have been dropped on our travels so far, Celtic Park remains a fortress.
In other news Gary Mackay-Steven broke his foot aginst Liverpool and faces 4 months out. The youth facilities have also been upgraded further.
Champions League progression was much easier than I had expected. I took full points from APOEL, the most surprising result was the 3-1 win at Anfield and then coming from behind at home to claim top spot.
SR67
We drew probably the strongest team we could get in the draw. It will be a tough task beating them but I think we can do it and go far this season. Both Aberdeen and Dundee United made the group stage of the Europa League but failed to make the last 32, however it should do wonders for the coefficients.

Cheers mate! Hopefully we can go a stage further this year!
SR67
This was a very important stage of the season for us. Towards the end of November the squad was becoming very tired and due to us still competing in four competitions I had to bring in a few versatile players.
First in was Daley Blind, who could prove to be priceless in the anchorman role if we are to go any further in the Champions League. He also adds extra options in defence.
England midfielder Tom Cleverly also adds many options as he can play all over the midfield, he has signed on loan for the remainder of the season.
A familiar face returns at a knock down price, and still has potential to be a great player.
We dropped a few points in the league but still hold on to our 100% home record. We also managed two wins over Rangers who have clawed up to 2nd place in the table. A very pleasing note is that we only conceded 5 goals over the two months.
SR67
A strong win over 2nd place side Dundee United the League Cup Final, this sets us up for another domestic treble.
The party lasted a whole week in Glasgow after reaching the Champions League Quarter Final and tying up a 6th consecutive SPL trophy. The table is very tight for the cherished European spots as we could have five teams competing in Europe next season.
SR67
I think we got the luck of the draw when you look at the squads, they are however a extremely good team. They boast the likes of Javi Martinez, Javier Pastore and Thiago.
Got to love april fools..
SR67
Another 6 points racked up in the SPL and a vital home win gave sent us into the semi final of the Champions League. The final 20 minutes of the PSG game in France I had five defenders and two defensive midfielders to see the game out.
Only Barcelona stand in our way of a spot in the Champions League Final, no big deal. The remaining SPL games will be played with mostly youth players to make sure my full squad is fresh for the tie.
