Corinthians have been as expected: composed on the ball, high pressure and inventive. Chelsea's finishing hasn't helped, but overall Corinthians have edged this game.

If Chelsea don't arrive home until Tuesday afternoon and then face a trip to Leeds for Wednesday night, i really cannot see them getting a result. That would mean you have Leeds, Aston Villa, Swansea and Bradford in the League Cup semi's. Makes our defeat even worse the other night ffs.

Fellaini incident is going to hurt Stoke long term, all thats done apart from get him a 3 game ban is highlight how much Shawcross gets away with from corners. Referees are going to notice that and I won't be surprised to see penalties go against Stoke from corners sooner rather than later.

It's Chelsea legend Pat Nevin.

Fellaini's going to get a hell of a lot more than a 3 game ban. I'll be amazed if he gets anything less than 6.

If referee's don't know this already then they shouldn't be officiating. They're simply too scared to do anything about it as its a lot easier to turn a blind eye.

We were disgraceful today. Torres has to stop starting games for us. Just a big waste of space on the field.

Just shows how bad we are playing recently and how bad we need a new striker. And he scored 1 against a shit Monterrey side, 2 against a shit Danish side and 1 penalty against Sunderland... The goal against Monterrey should have counted as an own goal because his shot wasn't even on target, Nordsjaelland are a terrible team. The only goal he actually scored was against Sunderland, the rest don't count.

So what?
If you discounted penalties, both Drogba and Lampard's goal tally would be a hell of a lot smaller.

Alright then, two goals... Still not good. He does nothing on the pitch. He is lazy and slow and he barely contributes to the build up play. He can't score either. Waste of space.

He scored two goals against Sunderland? Was that doing nothing on the pitch? He almost scored tonight because he was in the right position at the right time. He also has more goals this season than he had last season in half the amount of games, I think you're being a little to harsh.

He's out of form from his personal point of view but he's still a very good striker on his day.

EDIT: Also the goal Mata scored last week, do you remember what happened before that?

Obviously he's nowhere near the player he was and it's hard to figure out why that is.

You'd hardly call him a waste of space though.

At his worst, he's a waste of space.
I think chokosc has been poisoned by seeing too much of Torres at his worst (which isn't too many games ago tbh) to recognise that he's contributing a biiiit more these days.

I'd still love to ship him off and get someone else in though.

Sometimes, very rarely he does something good. And I praise him for that every time he does so. His problem is that he can never do it two games in a row, let alone twice in the same game.

We would be better off selling him for a pound, get rid of his wages and get a striker that can actually do something consistently. Damn, I have more faith in Piazon and Feruz than Torres.

Reckon there could be a potential of Torres plus cash for Falcao deal coming.
