Fucking hell Walker, that was abysmal. Why the fuck didn't he just pass it?

Chelsea fully deserve this win.

Mata is just in another league, I hope Del Bosque will cut Torres too, looks like it helps.

Spurs v Chelsea was a cracking game in the end.

Very heartening to see the side come back like that, having made the first half look like ease. Juan Mata really is a phenomenal player, aided by the combinations between Hazard and Oscar as well.

7 points clear, hopefully United and City drop points.

Rooney is clinical.

Also, why oh why can't we pick our best team?

Scholes and Carrick are shite together, Welbeck isn't a left winger and Cleverley and Kagawa are far to good and young not to be playing, it's not as if neither actually need rest.

Rooney has now scored at both ends.

Certainly doing better than City, who have had Milner sent off.

Raheem Sterling looks like a very exciting player, unfortunately.

Danny Welbeck looks a very limited and raw player when you see him playing there with Rooney and Van Persie. For many of these attacks, he just seems to be in the way. Much rather Hernandez was playing.

How are Scholes and Carrick shite together?

Make us very slow and lethargic, neither player does any running for the other and neither has any great physicality.

They were our best partnership last season by virtue of being about the only fit two, but we play far better and more effective football with Cleverley in there.

Because he's playing off of the left wing, I'd rather play a one legged Nani there than him.

Welbeck has been our brightest spark in this. Trying to make things happen. His finishing is woefully inconsistent but his all round game is miles ahead of Hernandez.

Kompany needs to sort his life out

Clattenburg has been dodgy so far as well (surprise, surprise), booking people for nothing tackles, then being too afraid to send them off what they actually make a bad one

Silly myth. Whenever Hernandez comes on, you can see his link-up play is much improved, and his finishing is excellent. Welbeck's a better dribbler, which is why Fergie likes to stick him out wide and given him the Walcott education.

Chelsea are looking good.

They look brilliant going forward, they look a lot more average at the back though.

Well done Welbeck, great goal. Rooney's cross was immense, but having been so piss poor at finishing in the first half, it was an excellent piece of movement for the header.
