Ben Arfa is a class player. That good actually that I doubt you'll keep him for long if he stays fit this season and puts in a string of good performances. Also when I've watched Newcastle I've never really thought Ben Arfa was lazy, he does track back, not all the time, but he's certainly not a lazy guy who just sits up top and doesn't help out.

He defends from the front which is what all forwards should do - but he was slating him as Matt Lowton managed to get a cross in and Ben Arfa was 20 yards away from him or something.
If that's headed out then he has the free reign of the right hand side as Lowton is nowhere to be seen.

It's harder to expect wingers to track back, and to be fair, Ben Arfa did track back a bit more than usual yesterday, particularly towards the end.

From what I gather, West Ham were terrible yesterday - something they seem to have been since the first day of the season. Obviously no out-and-out striker given Carroll's in the knacker's yard doesn't help.

bluemoon.
Yeah, I can remember him being slated by United fans for his antics last season.
