I know a lot of people are complaining about the game but I like it. I'm at that annoying stage where I'm too good for Professional but struggle at World Class, although I just beat Fulham 1-0 as Arsenal. It's tough. What does annoy me is that whenever the defenders lump the ball up to the strikers, they seem to always get goalside whilst my centre-halves remain static. Happened 4-5 times in my last game. That said, I'm enjoying the new passing and have scored a couple of good goals so far.

It's fair enough, unless you have a super agile player turning 180 degrees whilst still in control of the ball is very difficult to do at any sort of pace.

Anyone else noticed both your strikers stood BEHIND the defence in an offside position casually having a natter or something? Its annoying.

It needs quite a major patch tbh, it feels like a BETA version of the game.

World Class is so tough. I just played Wolves in the Capital One Cup as Arsenal and I swear I couldn't get the ball back from there. Scraped a 2-1 win but I had to work for it. Also, the way the ball just bounces off your players, even if you're not trying to turn or sprint with it, is infuriating.

Use realistic sliders. I used this guys last year and it did really feel realistic.

Is the offline pro the same as your online one? If I improve my offline one this will be reflected online?

Also, we playing be a pro clubs this year?

Your Offline pro is a save on your console, your Online pro is server based. So they're different.

Buy the attribute upgrades on EASFC or join a pro club with a friend.

Having a hard time adapting, I guess. A few major annoyances, like players just standing still despite me yanking the analogue stick so hard it should be breaking off, and the aforementioned defending on crossing.

Yeah, there are some things that are driving me crazy - the inability to defend headers properly being one of them. I just played as Arsenal against Liverpool and it was ridiculous how often Suarez was outjumping Mertesacker and winning headers, and quite often in dangerous positions. I'm also getting sick of how often you're offside and how your own players rarely make any decent runs.

Also, I understand that they wanted pace to matter less on this game than in FIFA 13, but they've gone so far the other way it's ridiculous. Even if I play Walcott through with a beautiful through ball, it might as well be Mertesacker on the right wing because the full back will always make up the ground so damn quickly. It's gotten to the point where the pace and sprint speed stats have almost because redundant.

Nah it hasn't, you need to differentiate between changing direction, dribbling normally and dribbling by sprinting.

I think the game is 100x better than FIFA 13.

Nah, a combination of any shots anywhere near the area being ridiculously accurate and powerful, really poor goalkeepers, really poor defending on crosses and players having the turning circle of a tank make this a poorer game than 13 imo.

I still win most of my games, but I don't think it's as good as 13. I think they've tried too hard to make the game more realistic when the game engine was great in the first place.

Finesse shots are awful on this game.

Ridiculously overpowered to the point where people are basing their whole style of play around trying to get opportunities to create a chance for one.

I've only played about ten games online and have to agree shooting is a bit to easy. Ultimate Team just becomes a goal fest from the little bit I've played. Career mode is quite enjoyable though so far, much better than last years career mode. Currently played half a season with AFC Wimbledon and sit top of League 2 playing on legendary, feels like such a realistic game now when playing offline.

Fuck this game. Never have I found a FIFA game so fucking frustrating. I've been drifting towards loving/ hating this game for a few days now and I'm at the point where I'm not enjoying it as much as I should be.
