Good win for the Toon today - feared the worst when I heard HBA had been dropped but we should've been miles ahead at half-time. Dodgy as hell second half but good showing to neuter Cardiff's attack and take home the three points.

Now for Liverpool and the Suarez/Sturridge combo... here's hoping we deal with it better than Sunderland and Palace have.

to be fair we were awful defensively last year, we just dont have the attacking play to make up for it this year, we seem to just have no pace/urgency or creativity going forward. Everything is just far to slow and no-one seems up for it

we just really dont seem to know how to attack anymore its weird. Januzaj is class though, him and Rooney have been the only people who have played well with some consistency.

Interestingly, that run came after Sir Alex Ferguson had announced that he would retire at the end of the season.

The sad thing is is that most of these problems were evident under Fergie last year (no movement, inability to defend, no creativity, no midfield) but he found a way to win despite this whereas Moyes would do a lot better with a real team behind him.
