May I suggest risotto and venison instead? A red wine gravy on the venison would go down superbly. A bottle of Chianti on the go as well.

You can if you get sponsored AND expenses paid for by a willing charity. Make a few calls.
SpekySquarehead
Car forums are full of pompous pricks showing off how much money they can spend.
Obtuse
He isn't pompous (outside of LFC) or a prick but have you met King Luis?
SpekySquarehead
Once. At a drinks reception at a conference in Wycombe a few years ago. It was early February and snowing IIRC.

Damn.
RIP.
Hibee
Don't think he'd have appreciated your 'RIP':
"It always bothers me to see people writing 'RIP' when a person dies. It just feels so insincere and like a cop out. To me 'RIP' is the microwave dinner of posthumous honours." - Lou Reed.
King Luis
Spot on.
Always say a similar thing about people wishing people happy birthday on Facebook, its such a nothing sentiment 99% of the time
(Such an old man moan i know)
The Platypus
So, R.I.P. Lou Reed, I don't care if you appreciate my message.
Franck
You know, I agree with him and normally I wouldn't do it. I was just too tired/lazy to write something more meaningful yet I just felt I had to write something given the role his (or rather The Velvet Underground's) music has played in my life.
