The "live" transfer system seems very gimmicky, it really doesn't seem to make any difference and you still have to wait a few days before being able to get around the contract table with the actual player.

Trying to put this aside I 'think' I'm enjoying it!!! Not totally convinced I like the layout of some of the screens as it seems a bit 'blocky' to me and could have been presented a bit smoother surely?? Am hoping there will be some cool packs and skins out there in a few weeks time which will help enhance the presentation piece.

Overall I'm enjoying it, little things like talking to loaning clubs about playing your players more/in different positions etc seem great

Much of the game has been made better, but it is so so sloppy it is insulting. None of it will be fixed by release because of the hostile way SI treat anyone making a bug report without uploading a save.

In FM14 I have someone managed to become the FM13 AI, 4 or 5 times per game I cross it through a crowded box to my unmarked guy stood at the back of the 6 yard box. 19 times out of 20 he stubs it to the keeper at 2mph.......

Really struggling in the league half way through, put together a run of wins away at Everton, Man City and Arsenal without changing anything major, then go back to losing against Norwich and Palace etc.

I can't seem to wrap my head around the loaning system. I am unable to loan to my club one player... they keep refusing me (club? player?) and no matter of the offers I make they keep refusing me
Another annoyance is the panels during match keep reseting their positions each time I navigate away from pitch or at half time... I use them for info during game and having to drag them off over and over again is a real pain.
All in all is just a beta, hope they sort out at least the most annoying bugs soon. Otherwise it's a decent update with some nice added feaures.

On another note! Loving the new fm14. Do very much like the new feel to negotiating transfers although it does seem abit easy to buy some players.
Got Kovacic from Inter in 2015 for just 12 mil
and looking around is quite easy to buy players for said value
new loan system is nice. And I enjoy the new director cam

and yeah, i finally wrapped my head around the loan system, all that live system with transfers.. all in all I'm loving FM14, all I need now is for SI to fix the panels during a match and to bring the dark skin and I'll be happy

ME is still dodgy and isn't as fluid as FM2012, still feels like they are taking baby steps even when they have a year to work on it which begs the question, what is the guy responsible for the ME doing between versions? personally I don't think he's up to the task based on 2013 and early 2014.

It's all about opinions but to me 2013 was the worst and I know I've read an absolute crap ton of people saying the ME in 2013 was horrendous even after the patches.
Regardless, defenders are completely broken when they are getting motm in pretty much every single match, there's definitely a lot to fix and the progress from 2013 to 2014 isn't that great considering they've had a year or something.

Since then I cant play any games without it crashing. First thought it was down to signing staff, but now SI have admitted its a "general" issue which they have a fix for but not told when they will release it.
Any one else had this issue since the update? Be it a saved game or new game it just does not want to work for me!
