I'm really fed up of this recent feminist bullshit trend that all lad culture is inherently rapey. I'm not even sure how that connections even been made in this case, it's just a crass song about sex.
I think its really disappointing what people have turned the feminist movement into, could have been a real chance to ensure equality but they're more concerned with complaining about the Sun, lads mags and Blurred lines.

During colonial times the person in charge of India was called the 'Viceroy' of India. The word Roi is French for King so the position Viceroy of India meant Vice-King of India. Can't believe the amount of times I've seen that word and not made the connection.

I find that really interesting actually. Because the Latin word for King is 'rex' so it shows some common ancestry between Latin and Gallic, never would have made the connection before.
I find it interesting how patch worked the English language is. We use the shared Germanic route for 'King' (König in modern German) but the Latin for their 'reign' (regnum) (interestingly the German's themselves adopted the Latin word which became regieren).
Wish I'd learnt more languages at school, they're fascinating.
