You're on to a good start, but there's still some ways to go.
As you can see, there's snow pretty much all around the head. I've highlighted the most obvious spots. You also have a frame left from the original picture source which needs to be removed.
Check out this thread, and the tutorials, as this has been a hot topic of late. There's tons of good stuff to look at and learn from. All it takes is a little patience and you'll soon be ready to do some cutting.
The most important thing to remember when cutting is to constantly check against different backgrounds to avoid these things. You'll want the picture to look like it belongs on both white and black backgrounds. When it does... then you're ready.

After cutting the image right click with the marquee tool selected and select free transform, you can now freely rotate the image. make sure you straighten images before doing a final crop and resize tho, otherwise the image can lose quality

This is what I'm using with Photoshop CS6. I can't remember if this was introduced in earlier versions.
The best way is to connect top of the ears,or in some situations to draw a line across the eyes.

Someone was also requesting an updated cut for Neville so I did two for training purposes. Any advices about them?

We need at least 2-3 pixels of collar visible,no matter how long the neck is.Also,it's not a "rule",but you could try to remove the unnecessary part on the left side of Neville cut,of course if it would stay realistic.Something like this:

There's no original picture with collar to choose from (not one that I can find anyway) so I'm afraid it's not possible. And I actually did fix Neville's jacket, but then thought I'd just keep it original. But that's all good to know, thanks!

Just double-click that ATN file, and when Photoshop opens press F9 to see actions box on the right side of the screen.Select the color you want and press the little play button on the bottom of the box.

THANK YOU SIR! It's amazing how simple it can be...
