A great start to the season qualifying for the Champions League Group Stage. We coasted through the qualifiers, the only bad news was Joe Ledley being ruled out for 3 months. A good start to the league too winning all of our opening games including an Old Firm match.

Just taking a moment out to talk money. The clubs financial status is up there with the healthiest in the world. We have no debt, no loans with a balance just shy of £60m and a projected balance of over £70m. I'd like to explain how it got to this considering I started with about £20m.

If you look at the squad and look at the ageing players, the likes of Mulgrew, Barry, Brown and Samaras. I already have replacements ready to step in and fill their boots. Milosevic is a ready replacement for Mulgrew and then theres young Soutar. I have Zuculini, Irvine and a few reserve players ready to replace Brown and Barry. As for Samaras we have new signings Gauld and Mackay-Steven.

The amount of home grown players in the squad is fantastic, this is just out of the players selected, there is about another eight u21 that don't need to be included but can still play.

A decent month in both competitions, Aberdeen are giving us a run for our money this year. It took beating them to go top after a loss to St. Mirren. In the Champions League we sit 2nd in the group behind Man Utd.
I completed the transfer of Ravel Morrison from West Ham for £1.4m who joins in January.

Another good month managed not to lose and picked up another 3 points int he Champions League leaving us 2nd still 5 points clear of BATE and Benfica who are on one point.

Rangers are still pretty poor, spent a fair bit though. Only a matter of time til they get a few decent frees.

An excellent month. We only conceded in one game and managed to open the gap at the top of the table. In the Champions League we sit top on head-to head with Man Utd.

Transfers have been great so far. Surprised to get that too and nearly £8m for Balde. I was shocked they let him go, but then I signed him and quickly realised. He's a good player but rarely fit (natural fitness = 7), if his fitness picks up the 2nd half of the season I'll keep him. If not then he's off.

Not the best way to end the year with a loss (to Rangers of all teams) and a draw. However we stretched the lead to 10 points clear of 2nd place Aberdeen. The loss to Rangers seen them win with no shots on target and won by means of an Adam Matthews own goal.
In the Champions League we made up for the last two season and reached the last 16, we should have beat Benfica and finished top but it worked out better for us.

Finishing 2nd worked better for us in the draw, it looks like we might have got PSG. I'm happy with Sporting Lisbon, we have a good chance of reaching the next round.

Managed to pick up some very good youngsters on the cheap. Morrison was transfer listed at West Ham and eager to move and Daehli was released from Molde. Both are former Man Utd players.
I cut my losses with Sigborsson and sold him for £1.5m after just 9 games. That means about £1.2m profit after you take wages into account.

January was a good month. After strengthening the team we put a good run together. The sale of Sigborsson meant Watt could step up and that he did, netting 8 goals. We also reached the League Cup Final.

A mixed month. Some poor results balanced with good ones. It took two shots to beat Championship outfit Hamilton and we dropped 5 points in the league. Not sure how I feel about the Sporting result but at least we didn't concede. We finished strong with an Old Firm win.
I arranged for two players to join at the end of the season Murray Wallace (£4m) and Danny Ings (£3.5m) who is dubbed the next Michael Owens.

- Only sign English speaking players.
- Only pay more than £1m for players under 25.
- Have a preference for Home Nation players.
- Sell anyone who I get a bid for that is above what I value them or can get a cheaper replacement for.
- Sell anyone who wants to leave.
A few players are asking to leave so we'll see how things are when the window opens and if attitudes haven't changed there will be a big shake up.SR67
A very congested month, but another league title wrapped up along with the League Cup. A good run of wins also. We beat Sporting to reach the Champions League Quarter-Final and go into the away leg with a 4-1 lead.

A terrible month for us. We crashed out of both the Scottish Cup and Champions League (expected). We managed to finish strong with another Old Firm win.

A decent finish to the season meant we finished 24 points clear of 2nd place Dundee Utd. Hopefully next season we can lift the treble. Motherwell and Hamilton will replace St. Mirren and Morton next year.
Overall the squad was great. Hopefully I can convince a few of the players who's deals are up at the end of the season.
