It's not controversial. Ghandi is a known hater of black people and Mother Theresa prolonged suffering of the poor.

I haven't read the missionary position, although it is on my list of things to read. But from what I already know, wasn't Mother Theresa essentially trying to do the right thing but was very misguided and ended up hurting a lot of people because of that, rather than maliciousness.
