Yeah Rodgers has got this wrong tbh. Sahin has been anonymous, Wisdom looks out of his depth and Sterling has been more likely to get sent off then create.

In fairness, I'm really not sure what else he can do. Shelvey would have got himself sent off again already, Henderson's no better and if you're having to start Downing you might as well just give up.

Also, as funny as Phil Neville was, I'm pretty sure he's just fallen over.

Your wide players are playing far too high up the pitch, so playing in a flatter five instead of a forward three would allow Liverpool to retain possession in much easier way. As it stands both fullbacks are completely dominant and Sterling doesn't seem like the kind of player who has the patience or experience to play solid possession football. So yeah, take him off and bring someone on who's going to work for the team.
