I'm not that eloquent!

There's another article on Stretty News in defence of Moyes. Good arguments for both sides.
Better than the current kit, but still not great. I hope this means Eric is coming back!
Ninja
Classy.
RIP
Oh fine then, don't post the pictures Susie.
Sam
I had to post this photo at least. Fantastic from both City and Liverpool, a horribly sad day. Never forgotten. RIP.

Him going, Evra and Rio probably as well, our defence needs rebuilding this summer. Building it around Jones would be nice.
Sam
He needs to grow up, pathetic.

This is probably the saddest thing about the whole scenario, you can see how desperately he wants to do well.
VP.
Think Gary Neville mentioned that after the game, can't remember exactly what he said but something about it only being against the side bottom of the league.
Who was Moyes directing it to?

It's very depressing.

Sam
Yeah right.

So I guess I could believe he would miss the obvious connotations of that.

I don't know why I laughed, it's not even funny.
(maybe I need to grow up too)

You can kinda understand his frustration though. Given the situation United have found themselves in this season for him to not get a decent crack would be frustrating, particularly given the injuries and how poor some have performed.
Sam
Regardless of his frustrations he should keep it private and not disrespect his manager.
I'm not going to deny that I'd rather see him playing than Young, and he has my sympathy for not playing many games, but he's shown himself to be a bit of a dick. He needs to sort his attitude out, unlike Powell who's gone out on loan and got on with it, and has done very well.
Sam
Yep, I'd love to ask all of those.

In fairness, I think a few of those we already have answers for.
Thiago wasn't signed because Moyes thought he wasn't physical enough, whether thats a valid reason or not it is the answer to the question 'Why didn't we sign him?' (Also I suspect once Bayern came into it we had no chance, regardless).
'Mental softness' was in reference to conceding late goals, which is fair enough. In honesty, I think it stems from Moyes, but I think most managers would say something along those lines, either in public or private, about the way we've been dropping points.
The defence issue is simple, combination of injuries meaning we never get a settle backed four. Hopelessness of Evra, Rafael's poor form and the waning powers of Ferdinand and Vidic are somewhat of a perfect storm, Michael Carrick's lack of form and Fletcher/Fellaini/Cleverley not doing much at all don't help them either.
My favourite question is the 4-2-3-1 one though 'OMG MOYES why do you insist on playing a 4-4-2 with Rooney behind Van Persie, Mata roaming across the pitch and a very advanced left winger? Why don't you play a 4-2-3-1 with Rooney behind Van Persie, Mata roaming across the pitch and another player'.
The question gets lost in semantics of how you write down a formation and misses the obvious concerns. Why, when a team like Swansea or Southampton can play good football do you seem to think that signing a Vidal, Fabregas or Kroos is a pre-requisite to it? Why has Adnan Januzaj not started a game since we signed Mata? Why are Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia, as a pair, un-dropable? Why are we incapable of playing through the middle? Why has Van Persie been so awful this season? Is Rooney really a long term solution to number 10? Does Rooney even have a future at this club? Why were you capable of producing better football at Everton with inferior players, but have managed the same points to game ratio as Tony Pulis at Palace, playing almost identical football? Do you honestly have a game plan of how to beat teams, especially top ones, or are your sound bites of 'try to win' and 'see what happens' the extent of it? Do you really believe the story of your time at United has been 'not good enough luck' rather than 'not good enough'?
Sam
For some reason he won't play Adnan and Mata in the same lineup. RVP upfront, Wayne behind him with Adnan and Mata either side all roaming in a 4-2-3-1 formation, sorted. Or if Rooney goes, Mata behind RVP, Adnan/Zaha/Kagawa or whoever alongside.
The persistence in Young and Valencia is just mind boggling, I'd rather we play Lingard than them both, or Zaha. Obviously he's allowed his adjustment period, Moyes, but we're not seeing any development. Mata was a development, but he's just stuck him out on the wing, seemingly just to give Adnan some rest, rotating them both.
RVP has had injuries, wherever this is linked to the training methods we don't know for sure, but knowing RVP's history with injuries/fitness then it makes sense him having a bad season. Then again when he has played he has scored often, except Wednesday of course. I really hope that Moyes knows that our bad performances aren't to do with luck, that he's just defending his team in the media.
I'll be very worried if Moyes doesn't start changing formation/tactic soon. I'm actually worried for the Olympiakos match.
