5-0 after full time. Sweden took advantage of the Slovenians running out of steam and scored 4 goals from 5-on-5.

Have to give the Slovenians a tonne of respect, winning two games and making it to the quarter-finals of your first ever Olympics is a fantastic achievement for anyone, even more so for a nation that only has 148 registered players.

Ole Einar Bjørndalen just equaled Bjørn Dæhlie in being the most successful winter Olympic champion of all time; both with eight gold medals.

edit: actually Bjørndalen (8+4+1) has 1 more medal than Dæhli (8+4+0), making him the most successful.

Delighted that Teemu Selänne got to finish his international career with a bronze medal today. A great player, a great Olympian, and most of all a great person. One of few genuine role models left in sports.

Team USA on the other hand were absolutely lackadaisical out there today. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I love Tuukka Quite annoyed with the BBC coverage of the 3rd place match though. They showed 1st third of the game and then changed to a different sport and did not even have it on red button.
