Just read that Big Sam is the 3rd longest serving manager in the PL, 2 yrs and 309 days. 1 yr more than Rodgers in 4th place. Poyet is the 13th longest serving manager at 180 days. Fucking hell. Owners are far too trigger happy

Is nine Premier League sackings this season a record?

God forbid if Liverpool fans might actually enjoy and be happy if their team wins Premier League after 25 years (which for many of them will be the first one in their life time). The nerve on that guys

Y'all Chelsea and City fans must have forgotten how it was winning the league after so many years not long ago (and I was happy for you at the time, silly me).

LE: And for the record, it's not over yet. I'm over the moon that we'll finish in top 3 and that's enough for me this season. As I said before, I've been waiting a title for so many years, I can wait one or two more. I'm more ecstatic about the fact that we have a manager that looks able to take this team to it's former glory, to the days (Bill Shankly reborn)

Except the ones I know who will just concentrate on rubbing it in peoples faces. Same people who retweet journalists from November saying Arsenal should be taken seriously now they're 7 points clear

This is basically what every liverpool fan I know does.

There's no silver lining, because if they don't win it they'll chirp all year about how they deserved to anyway, and thats all that matters.

Man Utd mathematically lost the title after our win yesterday.

If Man City get a point or all three against us I think they'll win the title. Their only tough game will be Everton away, the rest are cannon fodder really.

If we're gonna drop points to any team I'd want it to be Everton if it means them getting in Top 4.

But we're gonna draw against some shite team, I know it

You still haven't explained yourself. Plus the word you were looking for was probably "hypocritical"

Well, every Liverpool fan I know is just very happy that the team does so well and is very excited for the future. But then again, I don't live in UK

It's not about being happy. That's the only natural reaction.
The problem is going "Lol, we r the best, always were, jealous?"

Some fans will always be like that, it's inevitable... Fantastic said it best, so relax y'all and enjoy the game...

I hate more sets of fans than you lot combined. I hate places like Southampton and Charlton for really flimsy reasons. But to say fans of Liverpool will become insufferable is dumb. In what situation can you let their success affect you? Are you going to be spending 24 hours in a lift with a Liverpool fan and just simply won't be able to escape his comments? What kind of people do you hang out with who spend all their time reminding people that their team won the league?

In the grand scheme of things football is so insignificant, allowing some dickhead from a club I hate the pleasure of upsetting me with his reflected success, the only person who looks like a mug in that situation is me.

Saw that, not signing in with facebook to use it though. telegraph one doesn't load either.

They can, but I think the games against City and Chelsea are a lot more a negative than a positive.

I'd agree with that.

It'll definitely help City and Chelsea having players who have been around and won the league.

I just have a feeling they'll do it.

They're playing us on the final day of the campaign. If they're gonna drop points at any time, its not going to be then.

Liverpool have won me over this season, they're playing some great stuff, and amusing as it has been as a United supporter, I'd like to see Steven Gerrard get his Premier League winner's medal.

Will only happen I think if they beat both City and Chelsea. Lose both and I think City will win the title. They need to at least claim a minimum of 4 points from those games.

Stranger things have happened, i.e. Liverpool actually being amongst the title race this season.

People have taken the piss out of Liverpool for the last few years, can hardly blame some fans for turning the tables

I still think City will more than likely win it tbh but its just fun atm being in the hunt for the first time in years, we'll all slip up again though so who knows
