I'm pretty sure they're not.
As in, its not against the law to have took drugs or admit to have taken them, just illegal to be in possession of them.

But id imagine the boardroom at whichever club this is would have CCTV so i would imagine they would get cautioned if thats the case
Ninja
Yeah, but even then I imagine this is just an exercise in plausible deniability. Lets assume for a second it is Aston Villa, then they've basically done as much as possible to wash their hands of the whole thing and show that it as isolated individuals rather than the whole club.

Sterling, Sturridge and Gerrard will play like absolute shit for England at the world cup too, which is the most annoying thing.

By generally being quiet, calm and respectful - unlike Mourinho all the time and to a much lesser extent, Brendan Rodgers recently - It's far preferable to listening to gobshites mouthing off all the time. His rant after the Barça match was blatantly out of character and that was one of the reasons it was so notable.
You keep trying to be awkward though, Shola

The fact Henderson, Sterling, Sturridge et al are completely untested at international level and the England manager is hopeless and, unlike Rodgers, will do the exact opposite than get the best out of them I can't see England doing any better than I could a year ago.

I'd have thought CCTV evidence would be fair evidence for a charge of drug possession.

Yeah but a mistake against City is worth far more than a peno save against Stoke (for example). He reminds me of Barthez purely for his mistake-proneness yet ability to make top class saves

They've all peaked, that's been their biggest benefit this season. When you have two strikers scoring as both Suarez and Sturridge are doing then you're going to be in with a good shout. I guess the biggest question will be how they go next season and if it can be backed up, which I doubt.
Edit: Spelling.

A mistake that doesn't cost you points is less important than a save that saves them, doesn't matter who they come against.
Trouble is its easier to remember the mistakes than it is to remember the times he's saved us
