What a fucking Mickey Mouse organisation United have become if that is true.

He's actually largely got the best out of the side when he's played Mata and Kagawa together largely having to play one of them 'out of posistion' to accommodate the other.

Mostly the problem has been a complete lack of understanding on how to use a player like Mata, rather than where to play him, and hopefully a competent manager won't have that problem.

I really, really like the sound of everything he's said there, basically a manifesto for doing everything differently to Moyes.

(1) His win ratio is a staggering 62 per cent through the course of 22 years in the dugout. It all makes for impressive reading, especially when the respective locations of his triumphs are considered; Ajax, Barcelona, AZ Alkmaar and Bayern Munich.

(9) Journalists don't know jack. This has always been Van Gaal's default position on handling the media. Throughout the course of his career Van Gaal has done nothing to disguise his feelings of sheer contempt towards journalists, certain questions were dismissed as "parrot music," numerous TV journalists who encountered him had trouble keeping it together in the face of a manager who treated every query as a personal insult.

Surely Jose won't come, it would be quite funny though. He really wanted to replace Fergie.

As a coach (Louis Van Gaal) he is known as a slow starter who frequently finds his players needing ample time to grasp his tactics and intent of play. Generally his teams gather results in the second or third season under his coaching.

Surely if he leaves Dortmund that will negate this loyal persona he's got?

Complete cack I'm afraid. Maybe in bursts theres been improved performances when both have played but it isn't anything that's going to last. It's also entirely irrelevant at the end of the day either and doesn't cover up the fact he spunked £37m on a player who plays his best football through the middle, only to play him wide more often than not. It made even less sense to spend that much on a player completely unrequired when you have a freshly re-signed 300k p/w forward who also plays his best football in the exact same position, while also having a largely underused talent in Kagawa for the role also. All it did was create a far greater headache because he left him with the task of trying to fit as many of Rooney, RvP, Mata, Kagawa and Januzaj into the same side as he could.

As I mentioned ages ago, and has shown to the the case in a couple of the latter games United have played. Mata out wide exposes the fullback because of the complete lack of defensive qualities he offers. It's compounded even more when that left back is one that has had his own performance levels dip as well.

At the end of the day a lot of that rests on Moyes' shoulders and showcased just how out of his depth he was.
