Given up all hope of Stevenage surviving this season. Westley is shite, time he was sacked and a new man was brought in to kick those overpaid tossers up the arse and get them playing with some passion and pride.

First time I've ever seen an opposition side try and get a ball boy sent off.

Oh, wait, it's Brighton. Nothing new, really.

Well that is it. Goodbye Stevenage. Useless fuckers. Sell the whole fucking team and sack the manager. Absolute disgrace. Not happy.

That's a bit harsh. IF Alessandra scored his chance before we made it 1-0 and if Gurrieri takes his chance when he was 1 on 1 wiht Jensen then god know what happened because I thought you were alright in the first half. Second half was on another planet I think. The best football I've seen us play at Gigg Lane for a long time. Nardiello took his chances well and Danny Rose was absoultely outstanding and eserved his goal. If the season only was 5 game longer...

That's the feedback I was given by some mates who went; you scared early on and then we took the game to you, trying to score. True to form we couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo but then second half you lot dominated us. Really surprised at the impact Flitcroft's had since he's come in. Next season's going to be huge for you lot.

Great win today for us gives us a small chance of reaching the play offs! 4-0 up at half time! Gestede scoring a hat trick of headers Rudy Gestede Rudy Gestede we wanted Wayne Rooney but we got him instead just wish we had of beaten Yeovil!

Graham Westley needs a fucking punch in the face. I can't turn water into wine he bleats tonight. No, but you take a team who had a respectable finish last season and take them to relegation? I mean WTF is that all about? He needs to go. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lost 1-0 at York today. Would like to tell you how dominant we were and that we were unlucky not to score but that would be untrue. York dersrved the win but we weren't really bothered I think.

Finish as high as possible now and onto next season!

That Yeovil game is gonna haunt us, as well as throwing away the 3-1 at Sheff Wednesday. I know Ipswich, Brighton etc will all have had similar games, but this has been such an easy season to get in the play offs.

I just hope next season is equally as easy as there are enough promising signs, Gestede is quality yep, Conway etc too, just think Bowyer needs to improve the tactical side of things and be a bit more adventurous (like the Yeovil game), as he can clearly spot a player that's not in question (barring a few but every manager has those).

Agree with everything you say mate! Got some really good players really wish we had of beaten Yeovil and the Sheffield Wednesday game think the Brighton game was the worst though going 3-2 up with 4 minutes left then conceding within a minute and they are a play off rival

We've made the playoffs with a game to spare. Good job really cos I wouldn't fancy us last game to get a point if we needed it. Hoping to avoid Cambridge in the semis but over two legs I fancy us! Saying that, we struggled to beat Hyde yesterday....

We're safe. With 50 points. And two games to spare. Unlike last season, where we weren't safe with 57 and 7 minutes of the season to go. Shows how mad last season was.

What do you make of the defender Sam Hatton? I've seen other Grimsby fans split over him, some like him and some think he's shit. I know he is leaving this summer, his girlfriend has already moved back near her home and he wants to be at a club nearer his family.

Yeah he's ok. Been playing well recently. Has a tendency to panic a little when the balls bouncing around the box but he's solid enough. Knew he was leaving since around November time when he asked to leave but fair play to him he's always done ok when he's played. He's been playing regular recently as our other right back (Paul Bignot) has been injured.

Oh, and Oumare Tounkara is ok too. His thigh muscles are insane!

We let you beat us twice already But yeah to be fair, I'd rather let you play Cambridge, although I didn't Halifax were much special at Blundell Park recently, was more our poor finishing rather than your good play that won you the game. Good goal mind.

We really need to get some more physical players in. Technically, we're not far short. Physically, we're too easily out-muscled in the battle and don't make enough of an impression on the back line. Wells worked his balls off again for sod all reward - he's been great up on his own, and I really hope we can get Vaughan fit for 35 games next season to play with him because he's a real bright spot. I'd also love to see a big, horrible bastard in the middle who gives us real presence there.

We also need to get in someone who can take a set-piece. Think we've scored two headers from set-pieces all season, which is, quite frankly, crap. Score 10 more goals from set-pieces and we'll get 10 more points. Those more physical players should help us score more and concede fewer from dead-ball situations.

Oh well. Just hope Robins thinks the same as I do.

TM u scored off a set piece against us!

also we won again today big unbeaten record! Just one draw too many it looks like never know but we need a miracle! Birmingham to beat Wigan, Notts Forest to beat Brighton and we need to beat Wigan 2 or 3 nil! Great end to the season! Just need to sort out the defence as we score alot of goals bodes well for next season

Well, we're down. I was gutted for all of thirty-minutes. It's been coming, and in a strange way it's nice to have confirmation and no more false hope. Time for a clear out and a rebuilding pre-season.

TM - I've not been on here for a while, so I've not noticed your recent posts, but I wanted to ask what your opinion of Robins is?

Birmingham now only one spineless performance away from dropping into League One. The good news for them is that they're away - they haven't won at home since the 1st October! Bloody hell.

My dad remembers this more than I do but when we went to see Birmingham play Newcastle in an FA Cup tie at St. Andrews in 2007, the half-time competition was to chip the ball into a shed with the roof missing. I mean, it makes a change from the usual crossbar challenge bollocks but Jesus

I feel sorry for Lee Clark and Lovenkrands (ex-Mags) but its alarming how quickly and consistently they've fallen from a top half finish in the Premier League in 2010 to this.

Have Brum got their ownership status sorted out yet? I remember seeing a story that they could be kicked out the football league if they didn't officially appoint a new board that met regulations.

I personally like him. I do have a problem with his policy on strikers, though (loan all the buggers out so we're down to one fit striker who, good as he is, is 5'7" and receives sod all support). At times this season we've played exhilarating football, on occasion not getting the result we've deserved, such as against Reading both times and at QPR, but the last third of the season has been pretty grim. Not all down to him, but he does need to get some more physical players into the team because we're far too easily bullied.
