Just looking for an Asian foreigner, the rule is three foreigners + one Asian foreigner. Brought in on trial three or four Kazakh youngsters and an Afghan midfielder. Will run rule over them and see if any are worth a pop.

Gotta sit it out in the U18s, no loan bids for him forthcoming either.
In as my starting DMC, hugely versatile player, can play night on every position to atleast a competent level.
Starting AML, had a few options for the AML slot but opted for this guy, his versatility is a huge plus.
Starting GK, best GK in the country by a billion miles.

I achieved what I wanted to do this window, got my main targets by position and also added a lot of depth mainly thanks to the positions Kieza and Singh can play.

Three month break, eight games left, awful season.
Still hoping to turn things around mind, small tactical edits as I'm trying to make things click. Once things fall into place I'll be set. I'm determined to get a 433 working.

Form wise there has been a huge turn around since the mid-season break. Made a few more tactical changes and so far its worked a treat, 5 wins in 7 games, 1 league game left. Far from spectacular, but could be a winning formula for next season.

Progress is progress, one place better off than last season. Ended the season on relative fire, five wins in the last eight.
Of the signings I was pleased with everyone bar Kieza, was expecting so much from him and got absolutely nothing. Singh was gash but that was to be expected, he's Indian. I may look to move Kieza on if I can find a suitable AML to replace him, which shouldn't be hard. Another lacklustre season from Gaviao but he did finish in style with 4 goals in the last 7 games, so there is hope.
Tactically things seem to be clicking, next season I want a title challenge. The third season is usually when the magic happens with me.
No real idea of what I'm gonna do in the transfer market just yet, will have a good think about it all tomorrow. Off the top of my head I want an AML, DMC and maybe some more depth uptop. Got my scouts hitting the footballing hotbeds of Ghana, Nigeria and Australia, they (and Brazil) are the only non-South Asian countries I can scout.

The club option for an extra year on a contract is a godsend at this level, if a player does well, you activate the option and his deal is renewed for another year, no negotiations, no hassle. If he doesn't do well, just release him. Easy.

Expanded scouting range means I can scout all of Asia now, hopefully I can pick up a South Korean or something to fill my last Asian foreigner spot.

Kept it simple, didn't want to rock the boat and I'm happy enough with who I've brought in.
Starting AML, not usually what I look for in my AMLs but I'm willing to risk it due to the fact my scouts like him and he's one of those elusive right footed left wingers. Been retraining my current AMR to play that position for two years and he's still only competent, so this guy saves me a retraining job.
Competing for the starting AMR slot, hoping for some goals from him off the bench and he has some pace about him, in terms of this level.
Straight in as my starting DMC, been scouting him for over a year and he's one of the better Indian prospects about.
Just in as a backup GK, my previous backups were silver starred youth players. Don't want to risk Gum getting an injury this season and me having to stick a youngster in nets.

Could have some trouble with contracts at the end of the year, some big player's have deals running out and there's no way I'll be able to meet all of their demands. So I've got to take that into consideration when I begin to think about where I want to be next season.

Was 2-0 down in the Mumbai game and managed to claw it back, desperate for a top three finish this year. I think we can pull it off aslong as the injuries hold off.

Undecided as to whether I should request a new deal or not. All going well, just about getting by with injuries and I am looking to add to the squad when the registration window opens up. Wanna push us over the line and bring home the title.

Definitely gonna add an Iranian or a Korean to the squad this month, had the scouts out there and there are players to be had for sure. May also look to add an extra Indian or two for depth. Title run in boys. Eight games from glory.

Got my man. DMC, can play MC and retraining him to AML just for an extra option up there. I was looking at lots of youngsters but I opted for someone with a bit more experience. Adds good depth to the squad too.

Told yous, come the third season, magic happens.
Good turn around for a lot of players form wise, usual problems with one or two players or positions but overall I can't really complain.
Lots of decisions to make now, mainly in regards as to whether I stay or not. The appeal of staying is playing in the Asian Confederations Cup (equivalent of the Uefa Cup). In the six years the tournament has been running there has only ever been a handful of Indian victories, nevermind winning the tournament, historically Indian teams finish rock bottom of their groups.
The tournament starts during the 23,847 day mid-season break in the Indian league, so it could be an interesting change of pace. I think I'll make my decision once I get my head around the squad and what I do and don't want to do signings wise.

Towards the end of this season Gaviao was ripping it up and knocking goals in for fun, I played him from AMR a lot earlier on in the year and he did nothing. But through the middle he really shone.
I'm gonna see what my budgets are like and then make my final decision on staying or not. But if I stay, the squad is shaping up nicely.

Very tight at the top, our form really nosedived in the last few weeks. No idea now, usually we do superb after the mid-season break so I'm banking on that again.
