We're as excited as anyone for this summers World Cup in Brazil. To get you all involved we're produced a fantastic FM2014 add on allowing you to partake in the real Brazil World Cup with the real teams, real groups and real fixtures
That's right, you can take any of the nations taking part in this years World Cup and play through the tournament and try and bring your favourite nation to glory.
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\games
Mac: Put the save game file in the following location
users\USERNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\games
Then start up FM, go to "Load Game" and select "World Cup 2014 sortitoutsi.net.fm" and begin your career. You should have about a week before the squads are supposed to be finalised.

Known Issues
Some of the dates for the fixtures are wrong, they appear in the wrong order, there does not seem to be any way to fix this, however it should not effect the later stages of the tournament or qualifying from the group stages.

But yes, there are some players injured, and some major ones (I play with the US Team and Jozy Altidore is injured for 7 weeks and Julian Greene is not available for the US !). I don't know if the creator of this update could fix this ?

It's a .fm file, you just drop it straight into your games file, don't extract it.

Impossible to have the correct rosters + managers. This is as good as you're going to get.

hey bro, I have started this project. I know the due date was June 10 for final rosters so I simmed to that date and corrected all the rosters. Of course then once I hit continue I realized that June 10 wasn't complete so eveyr manager overrided my rosters with their own picks. Grrr!!!
This time I simmed to June 12 which is the date of the first game and will re-fix the rosters! WIll let you know when done.

Also, some players just weren't in the database (or I couldn't find them) so I couldn't add them to their respective rosters. They are:

Should be Cédric Djeugoué instead of Benoit Angbwa

Should be Pepe Reina instead of Victor Valdes

Should be Sylvain Gbohouo instead of Vincent Angban

Ok now I am starting to notice something when I download the file. Says 85 MBs? Well mine stops are roughly 73 MBs. Doesnt download the whole file. Something is wrong.
