C.S. Marítimo
April 2025 – Marítimo
Liga ZON Sagres
Loss to last place team epitomizes our season.
Almost successfully removed ourselves from European contention

C.S. Marítimo
May 2025 – Marítimo
Liga ZON Sagres
Of course this is how the season would end.
I will not be renewing my contract with C.S. Marítimo in June if they offer me one, which is up in the air.

van6969
They just finished in last in the Serie A, so I get to go back to the Serie B and horde all my Sammarinese in my first team; also the reserves if I need to loan them out to ensure they aren't unemployed and retire.
Back in Italia.
Dan
van6969
Yeah man, the finances didn't match my finishes or decent results in Europe. Just unfortunate.
I'm excited to be back in Italy, land of the loanees, so I can ensure the careers of my Sammarinese
van6969
Got my main man back at my side.

2025 June Friendlies – San Marino
Ugh, wish this could have gone better but the god Humam Tariq, who had all 3 assists for them, put Iraq on his back
Very frustrating game considering the squad I put out was young, but not as poor as their performance would make you think.
Guidi's injury, our first choice keeper, might have attributed to the result as well.

Thanks man!! It's been tough but yeah, San Marino finally being slightly competitive!
Felt right. Portugal is too fractured, in that Porto & Sporting + Braga/Benfica are always gods, one of the reasons I hate managing in La Liga due to the Real/Barcelona domination.
Yeah unfortunate though, but excited for the future!

Benevento
Summer & August 2025 – Benevento
Friendlies, Coppa Italia & Serie B
Decent Preseason from my main man Costanzo.
Knocked out of the cup at home by lower league Foggia on penalties so it was an ominous start to my Benevento career.
Keeping it low scoring but my man from Marítimo, Pederzoli, giving me some green dots (wins). FINALLY! Some league wins, haven't seen that in a while haha.
Good start!
Wow. Look at that huge image.
IN:
You'll see some familiar names one there who I have sniped from former teams, notably Waynne Owen, Ekwalla and Pederzoli.
Also signed A TON of my Sammarinese boys! : Valli, Mina, Battistini, Guerra, Simoncini, Campagna, Guidi, Terenzi, Dolcini and Ceccoli.
The other people I brought in were Sani, from Setúbal in Portugal, who I had on my radar at Marítimo hehe and he will start at CB. Ravaglia who will start at GK and is an actual person as opposed to a regen, solid Italian between the sticks. Conti, Martínez, Blom and Vincent on loan to be rotational and will definitely start significant minutes in the DM/MC, CB, CB, and MC positions respectively. Luca Sini to be my backup GK from my parent club Milan, as apparently I had a young 17 y.o. regen GK that Liverpool wanted to pay good money for...hehe. Galbiati is a versatile midfielder that will start many games and be a solid player for my squad.
OUT:
Let the unneeded frees go.
Got rid of all the relegation ragers!
Sold off some players who, since I had been at the club for such a short time, I wouldn't miss as I had no stake in them, like Perella, Sassi, and the young Keeper Cascio.
Got rid of every player complaining of a big squad or wanting first team playing time
Made that fucking pimp money, a cool $50 mil $420YOLOSWAG$ hahah

2025 September World Cup Qualifiers – San Marino
Away in the Czech Republic went as could have been assumed, but hey, we got a goal, and despite being down by 3 before the 20th minute mark, we played the rest of the game 1-1 positives can be taken!
Ugh. Expected more away in Riga against Latvia. The penalty and immediate score after hurt, but hey, we scored again, and although they did get another Gotta take the positives for the Sammarinese!
van6969
Benevento
September 2025 – Benevento
Serie B
Need to turn some draws into wins. Other than that, not a bad month.
Still up in the promotion area.

2025 October World Cup Qualifiers – San Marino
Really wish I hadn't started so negatively! we played well the second half and finally got our goal. I suppose it could have been different had I changed the formation earlier, but who knows, definitely can take some positives.
The sending off + penalty really hurt us, although to be honest Montenegro aren't bad and kind've took it to us
Qualifying Over: Finished last in the group with 3 pts ugh

van6969
right on! Uhmm, I just the Susie name correction patch. Loaded up all the Italian leagues on the vanilla, and then some of the normal leagues I load up. That's about it.
If I had to to do again, I would have installed the Sammarinese Championship league, from here but alas, I had not found it yet before I started the save.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you've got in store for the Sammarinese!
Also, you can play as the Sammarinese National team in the original FM, no downloads needed just be sure to custom load up players/current internationals/players from top teams/etc. from San Marino in your starter database and you're good to go.

Benevento
October 2025 – Benevento
Serie B
Solid month!!
Only loss away to league leaders, and club who is definitely going to win the Serie B, Inter.
Staying right up there
van6969
2025 November Friendlies – San Marino
Solid victory over an opponent we definitely should be beating at home
Great result over a decent CAF team in Niger. Wish we could've gotten more.
Curtain comes down on an illustrious Sammarinese career. Gave him his first cap in August 2013. and he's been a mainstay ever since. Also now don't have to worry about him on the club level, in reality I'm glad he's finally hung it up. He will be shipped to the reserves on Benevento and released at the end of the year.
with Battistini sitting out the Niger game, Gobbi, the man I gave a cap at 15 years old to, the greatest player in Sammarinese history, puts his name in the record books.
van6969
Benevento
November 2025 – Benevento
Serie B
Keeping the affairs low-scoring, but another undefeated month!
Just need to keep it up! In reality, I think we are punching above our weight with these results.
Auto-promotion would be awesome, but I don't know if we are ready, I would need to spend 10's of millions of dollars and that's not rally my style.
van6969
2025 – San Marino
2025 Matches
2025 Best Eleven
Well results wise it was a poor year. However I like our competitiveness in games, I mean look at how close some of those matches are for the [former] lowly San Marino team!
Glad to have finished the year off with two solid victories, and now I'm looking forward to 2026, a new era, no Battistini is big for the Sammarinese!
van6969
Benevento
December 2025 – Benevento
Serie B
A decent month.
Annoyed to lose at home to Lecce
Two solid victories followed that! The Pederzoli show!
Unfortunate to lose away at Lanciano, they scored the winner in the 86th minute and we hit the post twice in the 2nd half.
Still in pole position to be amongst the promotion candidates!
Dan
van6969
Was so glad we not only won those games, but looked good doing so.
Haha yeah, they got relegated with Benevento and..Ternara(I think?) this past year. They are going right back up, they are dominating. Playing them is like it was playing Porto with Marítimo haha
simoncoyne
van6969
In the summer yeah, I was able to bring in a number of them. Unfortunately most of them just aren't up to standard and therefore saw limited playing time, so in this January 2026 transfer window, I have shipped a number of them off, either transferred or loaned out. The fullbacks Valli and Ceccoli are the only two I have retained in the first team; Ceccoli starts and Valli is rotational and they are both performing pretty well.
In the spirit of this, I think I'll do a Sammarinese player update soon!
van6969
Benevento
January 2026 – Benevento
Serie B
Not bad.
The fucking Ternara game ....let me just show you the match overview and you'll know why I'm frustrated:
Still up there, wish we could have taken all 3 against Ternara.
Schivaon (17 y.o. DLC/DM/MLC)
Bernardi (16 y.o. DC)
Brought in a bunch of solid rotational players and some Sammarinese youth. Loaned out a number of youth and some Sammarinese who aren't up to the standard of the Serie B. Also let Dolcini and Terenzi go on frees to lower league Italian teams as I want them to get football and they just aren't really getting/going to be able to get minutes for me.
van6969
2026 – San Marino
Euro Qualifying groups drawn....and we got handed one hell of a group. Shit, in the seeding just before us, Cyprus got a group with Estonia, Finland and Georgia
van6969
2026 – San Marino
Young centerback with just a singular cap, will continue to feature and develop for years to come.
Teenage midfielder who has solidified himself in the 23-man squad recently. Hopefully will come good in development.
Teenage attacker who is consistently on the bubble of the 23-man squad. With Battistini's retirement, he may find himself the potential to step into that AML role.
Teenage striker and a very exciting player for the future with Tomassini approaching his international retirement.
Teenage midfielder looking to establish himself as a consistent member of the 23-man squad. Looking for him to develop well.
One of my main men! Solid Sammarinese midfielder who I think has a good number more caps to give it his all for his country.
Another mainstay, really big fan of big Denny who can play out wide right or up front. He also has a knack for goal, which is awesome for a Sammarinese international.
Solid, versatile defender. Zonzini hasn't been a stranger to my squad, amassing 20+ caps.
Solid CB and usual starter alongside Gobbi in the anchor of my defense. Might pick up Caniato from his amateur Sammarinese team and give him some professional training, but I don't know if I want to take away from his game time.
Dolcini is a attacking player who I had hoped would develop into something more. Still a decent rotational player on the fringes of the 23-man squad.
Solid young left-sided player who is also looking to make Battistini's vacant position at A/ML his own.
Another young attacker who I had high hopes for but really hasn't come to fruition. Will continue to be a rotational attacking player on the fringes of the 23-man squad.
Decent young CB, a position in which we have a number with decent quality. He'll get a few more international caps before his proverbial day is done.
Decent young attacker, will continue to develop and fight for a position in my 23-man squad.
The main 3rd string keeper, decent player.
As the record skips....another attacker whom I wanted more from. Will probably see a few more caps.
A big dog!! Starts for me at W/BL for Benevento and San Marino. A really solid young player who has one of the brightest futures in Sammarinese history.
A solid teenage LB, a position we are blessed to have a number of solid players for, who will continue to develop and make himself a mainstay in the squad, especially when G. Mularoni retires.
Decent young CM who is on the fringes of the 23-man squad.
GK for the future! Looking for him to post-up between the sticks in a number of years time.
Physically big player of Argentine descent, just recently came into the squad and is looking to establish himself as a consistent member of the 23.
A solid midfielder who has played numerous internationals for me or at least been on the bench. A Mainstay in the 23.
The starting DM for the Sammarinese 23-man squad. Been there for many game for me, approaching 50 international appearances.
Mainstay in the international team with 60 caps, and a player who rotationally plays W/BR for me at Benevento. Solid RB.
Main man. G. Mularoni is the captain of the Sammarinese squad. Been with me at the club and international level for a long time. Good LB, but his lack of caps, comparatively to other players that came through with him, stems from the rise of Ceccoli & A. Mularoni combined with his injury troubles the past few years.
Another mainstay who has been with me for a long time, club and internationally. Great versatile midfielder. Will continue to at least be included in the 23-man squad and will definitely amass a few more caps before it's all said and done.
Starting GK for the Sammarinese team. Starting goalkeeper for the Catania team as well, which is a big deal. Solid GK who has had some injury troubles in the past couple seasons that are cause of some concern.
The guy. The Gobbster. The record caps holder and, in my eyes, greatest player in Sammarinese history. Plays for Empoli in the Serie A and gets minutes. What development of a player who I capped when he was just a 15 year old at San Giovanni in San Marino.
Record goalscorer in Sammarinese history. The main poacher for me. The only non-regen left following Battistini's retirement. Has been a great servant to his nation and will get a few more caps and hopefully a few more goals.
Versatile attacking player who is the Vice-Captain of the Sammarinese squad. Has been with me for a long time on both levels. Will definitely see more caps.
Another big dog, a solid player and mainstay in the 23-man squad. Tini is one of the players I hold near and dear to my heart.
The versatile attacker/ST who has the potential to be the greatest Sammarinese player to have ever lived. Look at those stats!!! Udinese signed him!
A solid, young, versatile attacker who is looking for his first cap and will definitely have 10+ before it's all over.

Benevento
February 2026 – Benevento
Serie B
Pretty good month.
Should have picked up more away at lonely Pisa, but a draw isn't the worst thing in the world.
A great 6-point win at the eath at home to Virtus, who are right on our tail!
Amazing performance away at Ascoli, putting the hammer down on the relegation candidates.
UGH! A 1-3 home loss to 15th place Atalanta really stings. They were up 3-0 at the half and we looked like shit. Dunno how the turnaround from the Ascoli game could be so polarizing.
The loss at home to Atalanta hurt us in our bid for automatic promotion, but we are still up there amongst it!
