But I get the impression that because he's quite good at the other end of the pitch people tend to over-rate his defensive contribution. Similar to Vermaelen and Jones.

Get Wisdom off for Suso or someone (I don't know what Rodger's is thinking with him clear from the Everton game he's not ready) Go to 4-3-3 and at least have a go, otherwise you're going to meekly lose this one 2 or 3 nil.

Seems like the type of player that really lifts his game when he has good midfielders around him like he did at Dortmund. Seems to be pretty inconspicuous for Liverpool.

Hard for him to do what he does best when we only really have the one outlet upfront, hes been alright mostly. Bit anonymous today though, like alot of our players
