Not an improvement since the colors are off, it's tilted and your cut has snow around his hair. Especially at right side of the head. The current cut had a bit washed out colors so I fixed that and changed the collar while I was at it:

still looks better than the original with the new collar, as for colour being off down to opinion but whatever people are happy to use only trying to help out

To a certain point it's down to an opinion for sure, but in the case of that image it's really not. It's a matter of calibrated monitor vs a non-calibrated one and I for one have a monitor with excellent color range, which is also hardware calibrated. Though if someone prefers your alternative cut for whatever reason then that's great, but it should be posted as an alternative cut, not as an improvement.

either way he's in right collar now, as for calibrated high grade monitors lets not get into a my dads bigger than your dad contest because I don't think you will win haha, my expertise is video not image cutting so I will take your lead on what looks best just glad the collar is updated.
