Don't think he'd have played the next two anyway even with his good form so its not a massive loss. Just as long as he's back for when Jones inevitably breaks himself again.

I keep forgetting there's an international break too.

Anyone seen the extracts from Keane's autobiography? Amazing player, but such a bitter man.

Keane fighting Schmeichel and then giving out that Charlton could've broken it up is the funniest thing I've read in a while

Apparently theres a few contradictions from his first book and this one. Does seem terribly bitter but he admits he still has a soft spot for United despite it all. Maybe thats come about because his son supports us.

Looking forward to reading it but will probably read KPs first which is out on Thursday aswell.

Looks like letting Pogba go/not giving him a run is going to become one of SAF biggest failures.

Valdes training with us is weird. Apparently mates with LVG though so theres that, hopefully if the rumours about contracts are true its as back up two De Gea rather than a replacement.

There was me thinking the international break was coming at a good time so that we could get some players back fit.

Angel Di Maria: 'I'm happy where I am, but I'm still young; maybe one day I'll play for PSG.

“PSG, I think they had a money problem and they couldn’t buy players," the Argentine said in an interview with Telefoot. "This is the main reason I didn’t go there. Playing in the French league would please a lot of players.

"Now I’m in the English league. But you never know, there is a lot of movements in football. You can never predict where you’re going to play.

"There were a lot of clubs interested in me. A lot really. But Manchester United appeared and didn’t go away. They absolutely wanted me and it happened.”

Di Maria admits the possibility of moving to the French capital intrigued him, and has not ruled out the prospect of joining PSG in the future.

"It could have been a good experience for me to go to Paris," he added. “I know I’m still young, perhaps I’ll go to PSG one day. I don’t know how it will all end."

Real Madrid's decision to sell Di Maria after an impressive season and decisive display in the Champions League final caused consternation among many, but the Argentine insists he is happy with the way things have worked out.

“It’s a different style of football here at Manchester United," he continued. "I’m very happy. I don’t have regrets about leaving Real Madrid. I think I won everything I wanted with Real: La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa Del Rey."

---

Those are the full quotes as far as I'm aware. Don't think theres much wrong with it tbh, we all know he was close to joining PSG, and probably would have stayed with Real in the summer if given the choice whilst the interview was with a French TV company and is bound to be Franco-centric. He's also been quoted this week as saying:

'It was a very big moment in my career. Leaving a club like Real and coming to as big a club as Manchester United makes you grow as a player and helps you progress in your career.
'It was a very important moment and I'm really happy here. Let's hope things go well for me so I can be here for many years.'

Ultimately who cares? Its common sense that the players have no where near the emotional attachment to our clubs that we do on the whole and its kinda refreshing to see someone be a bit candid and say 'I don't know what will happen in the future' than give the whole 'Club X is the biggest/best club in the world ever and I'm going to stay here for 30,000x years and become a club ambassador' speech when we know its not true.

Not a big deal at all really. He could have joined PSG, he didn't. That's it. He wasn't exactly going to say on French TV 'the French league is shit'.

There's no official confirmation on De Gea's injury yet, only that he passed his Spanish team medical and stayed with the squad. Fingers crossed, we need some luck with injuries.

Still wouldn't worry about playing us this weekend. No strong mentality at our club whatsoever. Couldn't even beat you when you were under Moyes ffs.

If we had a team I wouldn't. It's actually Blind's injury alone thats made me nervous.

If we can get De Gea, Rafael, Carrick and Falcao on the pitch I think we'll be ok. Evans might be fit which could be a huge bonus. Thats nearly half a team of huge doubts though.

Mate we have fucking Flamini who is probably the worst player in the Premier League. That isn't even an exaggeration either the guy is absolute toilet. Hopefully we line up with this:

Szcz
Bellerin - Chambers - Mertesacker - Gibbs
Wilshere - Arteta
Theo - Alexis - Oxlade-Chamberlain
Welbeck

As opposed to what it's probably gonna be:

Szcz
Chambers - Mertesacker - Monreal - Gibbs
Flamini
Oxlade-Chamberlain - Wilshere - Ramsey - Alexis
Welbeck

Not to mention that shitehouse of a cuntbucket Mike Dean is reffing this one. Fuck me I can't wait till that prick stops reffing.
